The IC has jumped the shark. As a kid I wanted to be a rapper and create something beautiful like illmatic and 36 chambers. Then I get older and realize those albums arent really appreciated. Boring they say. Shits sad.

I almost wish I was born ten years earlier.

Yes I read those tragic lyrics were Tyler wanted to have sexual relations with an animal.

In that same song he admits to wearing womens underwear, and he even disrespects his mother.

I think he's using blasphemy, beastiality, Nazism, and other shock tactics to build a buzz and get attention, it hurts me really bad how people keep saying they are like Wu-Tang. That Wu-Tang comparison had me depressed for a while.

I really think y'all have too much time on your hands and are paying too much attention to Tyler. Whatever he's doing is working right, because nobody can shut the fuck up with their own 'theory' on why he says what he says. Take it for what it is, a 20 year old kid who doesn't give a fuck. Why should you?

Why do you care if people care or not??

Why are you concerned enough to question why?

Only person i heard that compared Odd Future to Wu-Tang was ?uestlove...i raised myself on Wu-Tang's music and i still fail to see a comparison, besides the fact that OF has 11 members and Wu-Tang has 9 members(11 if you count Cappadonna and Redman).

Thanks for saying that and making me fel better.

WuTAng was the streets and they represented HipHop in its purest form along with 5% wisdom, gritty beats, street-slang, and raw NY lyricism...its unfair and dissrespectful to compare them to Black skater outcasts who use Nazi imagery and rape fantasy to promote themselves.

Wutang tried to elevate the conscious level of Black people with encoded supreme wisdom and esoteric knowledge, they were never into eating cockroaches and raping white women.

I feel so embarrased that the West-Coast allowed this to catch fire!

With the dominance of Weezy/YM, i'm confused that the rise of Lil B and OF would come as a shock to anybody. They're capitalizing off the moment where shock tactics w/o any substance and homo-erotic rhymes/trends are embraced, or at least acceptable. And this is coming from someone who is barely 18...

OF has no substance? lmao. listen to more then one song before you say something, because your way wrong. they actually put a songs togeather that makes sense and tells a story. unlike 70% of the rappers today.

I'm not going to retract my statement, Deep down Tyler is an emo-faggot that's depressed that likes to boogie with Jesus and kick it with Nazi hoes lol. They try to give off this rebellious vibe, but wth are they rebelling against?...and i said shock tactics w/o any substance, not simply any substance. I'm aware that OF as a whole released like 9 albums and 3 mixtapes, but i haven't heard that much substance from them regardless. In fact, the fact they have so much songs only adds on to what i am saying, i shouldn't have to skim through all of they're bodies of work to hear something with some substance...maybe i was listening to the wrong members...maybe i shoulda been more patient when i gave them a chance...but this is just an observation.
