Fam... The guy that wrote the article has 40 years under his belt in trans-studies as it pertains to mental health. He's an acknowledged scholar in the field. He's the former head of psychiatry at Johns Hopkins, the hospital that pioneered sex reassignment surgery back in the 60's only to stop doing them in the 70's because they did not produce the desired results. The article I linked has case study material as reference that says that we're going about this all wrong.

He's got over 200 peer reviewed papers under his belt and has a career longer than you've likely been alive. IF there's anyone I'm going to listen to it's an acknowledged expert in the field, not some nigga with baseless arguments on the internet.

Based on trumps tweet he didnt create this ban bc he felt transgenders were mentally unstable or unfit to lead.
