Yup. Hollohan did a interview w/ Rapgrid recently dissing Organik after that whole Charron vs Pat Stay drama occured with Hollohan not being allowed on stage. He brought up something genius that these leagues are all swapping to stage battles trying to sell out venue seats when the real money is in PPV. The audio of stage venues is wack as hell, and the energy and audio of the grindtime/early kotd era was GOAT. and the small room URL battles.

Look at Canibus vs Diz. Had that battle in a garage and the battle was pretty dope. No one was interrupting, reaction to bars was on point. And the PPV sold well. I think moving back to the Pit battle format would be an awesome change for battle rap. The Big venue/Stage and mics is really killing battle rap. Heres that interview with hollohan.
