Some of the fights are good I admit, but what they've done with lightsabers, like a double curved blade and two doubles? Dooks and maul are beast, so they deserve unique sabers, but asaj ventress is just gay

I watched episodes 4-6 a couple weeks ago. The lightsaber fights seem tame as fuck, I hope 7-9 and the spinoffs and shit have some dope fights.

and I'd say Obi Wan is better than Anakin. Obi Wan beat him when they were both at their prime, Vader beat Obi Wan when he was an old man.

Anakin wasn't in his prime yet... Anakin and Obi Wan was Cavs vs Spurs Finals 07... You see they didn't make him a Jedi Master.

If Anakin at the end of Episode 3 wasn't his prime then I don't see how Vader in episode 4 or beyond would be his prime. There was a good 20 years or so between him fighting Obi Wan as Anakin and then the next time they fought. Since there was no other jedis besides Obi Wan and Yoda in that time, there was no one to challenge Vader, so I'm sure is lightsaber skills got a bit rusty.

But, what I will say is that his force powers are probably in their prime when he's Vader. He was able to fully immerse himself into the dark side, and had a master who basically had no limits as to "oh you can't learn that or do that it's bad" because he was a sith.

Vader is a shell of Anakins potential... He's 50% weaker than what he was before the flames got to him. Return of the Jedi Luke is what Anakin was suppose to be. Luke was one with the force and his lightsaber skills wasn't to bad it I have to say so myself.

Anakin (before Vader) had the potential to be stronger than Sidious and Yoda... But dude could never commit to the light and by the time he was fully dark he was Vader. Dude was Darth Plegueis creation... Anakin is(was) the force.

Isn't Obi-Wan's style basically to survive in the fight until the opponent does something stupid?

Not hating on it, just asking. Anakin merked Dooku with a quickness once he got serious, the same Dooku who dealt with Obi quickly. But he did use the force for that, if i'm remembering right.

Obi-Wan is like the Floyd Mayweather of lightsaber fighting, just in terms of being all about defense. Anakin was the Pacquaio, overwhelming speed and power but not as good technique.

Windu was like the prime Tyson. All of the above plus a little crazy.

That's an accurate description.

Yoda was Ali

Sidious was Suger Ray

At his prime, Anakin was 3rd to Mace and Yoda. But there is this debate of wheter or nor Sidius THREW the fight between himself and Windu to get Anakin to finally turn. So, it's hard to say whether or not Windu was better.

However, Windu's form was pretty flawless. So I have to rank them:

1) Yoda

2) Mace

3) Anakin

4) Sidius

5) Count Dooku

6) Episode 1-3 Obi-Wan

7) Darth Maul

8) Qui Gon

9) Luke

Nice list, the ROTS novel touches on this in far more detail during the light saber fights, and it says Sidious threw the fight once he felt Anakin coming and that vaapad couldn't use the emperor's darkness against him, during the fight with yoda it's shown in the novel how superior Sids was to yoda, Anakin was truly the only one who could defeat him, in ROTS he was barely scratching the surface of his potential (he was supposed have double the emperors power)and had he not leapt at obi wan in arrogance would've killed him. In the novel Rise of Darth Vader which takes place immediately after the events of ROTS the emperor says knew that had anakin not leapt and killed obi-wan that he was next. Anakin at his full potential would've been practically invincible, when he lost his limbs and got burned up he only had 80% of the emperor's strength. It's too bad we couldn't see Darth Plagueis in action, Sids had to kill him in his sleep, so that should tell you something.

1) Sidious

2) Yoda (lvl 9 swordsmen)

3) Anakin/Mace (both lvl 9 swordsmen)

4) Count Dooku

5) Obi-Wan

6) Luke (ESB-ROTJ)

7) Darth Maul

8) Qui Gon

No, Anakin was created by the force, when Darth Plagueis, and Sidious were meditating and releasing the dark side throughout the universe, Plagueis tried to manipulate the force to create the manifestation of the force in a bodily form to be the perfect sith, the force rejected this and saw that the sith were getting too powerful, and trying to play God and created anakin to destroy the sith once and for all, anakin is the living embodiment of the force, hence why at full potential he would have double sidious' power.

It's been a while since I read the novelization, but it did not say Sidious threw the fight, at least no the saber portion. It flat out said that Mace was pushing Sidious back. If Sidious threw the fight, it was when Mace was reflecting his lightning back at him. Sidious feigned weakness at that point to by time, but the book hints far more towards Mace winning the saber battle than Sidious faking it. Again, I could be mistaken but I'm pretty sure it doesn't say anywhere that Sidious faked. Him faking is purely speculation.

It's too bad Qui Gon Jin died in the first movie. He was a dope character, or maybe it's just Liam Neeson that was dope. but my point still stands.

Obi wan and mace are tied because mace beat sidious and obi beat darth vader who beat sidious. Yoda never won any fights, although as people have said we never saw him in his prime. Vader did beat windu but he was tricked. For on screen skill obi and mace look the best.

1-2) windu/obi wan

3) anakin

4-5) dooku/sidious

6) maul

7) yoda

8) qui gon

9) grevious

10) kit fisto

Using just who they beat doesn't work because some people who are pretty beast (eg windu or grevious, who has beaten at least 4 unknown Jedi) only fought once when they died. People who are saying the prequels are crap, they are, in many respects, better than the originals. Yes they got a few thing wrong (I disagree that the force is just meant to be wisdom because yoda moved the x wing out of the swamp; if you can lift things you can throw them. But the fights are actually very boring in the originals and are truly epic in the prequels. And whatever you think about the prequels, you are going to love them when you see the sequels brought to you by the lovely Disney.

Also I have ignored everything to do with the clone wars because it is just a crap spin off that happened to do well and now people are taking it seriously. They are making excuses to bring back characters from the dead, which is stupid. Clone wars isn't Star Wars and any real Star Wars fan over the age of seven feels the same way

You only got 3 posts so u on some padawan shit of ya ic career...so u good

On that even yoda knew that he greatly underestimated sidious to a point that he said it himself.

Na sidious killed Darth Plaugueis in a drunken sleep cause Plagueis trained himself not to sleep AT ALL plus he killed a man by just telling the man's midiclorians to go back to the force(what would you do ?). He had to get him drunk off of wine just to try and kill him. I could explain more but that's for another day.
