1. Nnamdi Asomugha, CB, Raiders.Cant rate this guy Best CB in football
2. DeAngelo Williams, Overrated - I think he's a GOOD RB, mind you...but he's going to get some astronimical number for a position that wears out quickly. You never get the return on investment with RBs. Which leads me to...
3. Santonio Holmes, WR, Jets - he kinda overrated. Didnt crack 1000 yards and only caught 6 td all his number drop last year in every catorey
4. Sidney Rice, WR, Vikings. Overrated - Guy has had 1.5 good seasons, can never stay healthy...but I'm to believe he deserves top 15 money? No thank you, if I'm a GM.
5. Ike Taylor, CB, Steelers Overraated - Any decent corner can look good behind the steelers pass rush. He's a good player, probably a top 15 corner, but I think a team will regret it if they give him a big contract. He's like 31 years old, too. Also, look at the history of good Steelers defenders leaving in free agency and how they played with their new teams. Guys like Chris Hope, Bryant McFadden, Jason Gildon, Kendrell Bell, Larry Foote etc...All these guys were great when they were with Pittsburgh but flopped elsewhere.
6. Le'Ron McClain, FB, Ravens.
7. Zach Miller, TE, Raiders. - Underrated - Don't hear a lot of people talking about Miller. Maybe it's because it's expected that the Raiders will make him their #1 priority resign him right away ( ) but still there should be more talk. The guy IMO is one of the best all around TEs in football. Unlike a lot of guys these days, Miller actually blocks and blocks pretty dang well. He's a pretty good receiver, too. His numbers are even more impressive when you consider who he's had throwing him the ball during his short four year career thus far. Dude's a stud and I hope we do everything we can to retain him.
8. Braylon Edwards, WR, - Underrated - People still seem to remember him as the Braylon from Cleveland who led the league in dropped passes. Several Jets fans have told me (since I don't watch Jets games regularly) that Braylon hasn't had that big of an issue with dropped passes anymore and that he was one of the hardest workers on the Jets last year. I think he will have a great impact wherever he signs
9. Brandon Mebane, DT, Seahawks - underrated
10. Cullen Jenkins, DE, Packers. - Overrated, a good 3-4 end, but some people act like he is some elite player. If a 3-4 team picks him up at a reasonable price, then he will likely be a valuable piece, but I don't see him putting any team over the top.
11. Charles Johnson, DE, Panthers. underrated
12. Doug Free, OT, Cowboys. Underrated Free is one of the most athletic offensive lineman i have ever seen, he has only been a full 16-game starter once in his career, last season, so he was a bit raw and didn't completely dominant but he still had a strong season nonetheless. At his size [6-6, 320] and with his athletic ability he could be a franchise LT for some team.
13. Eric Weddle, S, Chargers.
14. Davin Joseph, G, Buccaneers.- underrated
15. Antonio Cromartie, CB, Jets - Overrated - last season this guy was burn at times, by mid level WR
16. Josh Wilson, CB, Ravens. - underrated
17. Ahmad Bradshaw, RB, Giants. Underrated- people think he's bad RB but if he fixes his fumbling problems. He will be a good RB
18. Matt Light, OT, Patriots. Underrated:
Matt Light. He's 33, but he'd still upgrade the LT spot for half the league. Would be a great fit for a zone-blocking run-first team, as his pass-blocking has deteriorated a little, but he's still a fantastic run blocker.
19. Aubrayo Franklin, DT, 49ers. Overrated - FootballOutsiders credited him with literally no pressures this past season. Two-down run-stuffers are great, but you don't want a guy taking up at least 1/20 of your salary cap to only contribute on half of the defensive plays.
20. Michael Bush, RB, Raiders. Underrated, Never gets the chance cause of DMF
