You God dam motherfucking scunt. You are a Goddamned fool if you think that a black person couldn't possibly say the things I say. I'd knock you the fuck out if you said this to me. But then again, you would see that I am (in all likelihood) blacker than you and you wouldn't say it.

Not to mention that I have posted pics of my hand writing shit commenting on treads in real time.

The word has been used in black entertainment before hiphop. Black entertainment was only but so big within the US let alone the world in the 60s and 70s. Even if hiphop wasnt around, once black entertainment became global it wouldve happened anyway. Its not the word, its our culture they want to emulate, our slang, dress, dance, everything. Theyve BEEN biting our shit, its just global now.

Most people that dont come into regular contact with black americans' exposure to black american culture is through hip hop

Some of y'all must have never spent any time in the deep south. White people, (and sadly blacks) use the word like they use oxygen. It's so ingrained that it is not always used in anger. They use the term for even the most mundane things. Ever hear of n***er juice? It will shock those sensitive northern ears.

Youre repeating what I just said. Hiphop is an extension of black culture, we've BEEN using the word. Hiphop didnt introduce the term to black entertainment, but you mfs is allowing the media to lead yall into believing that. Just like gang violence. You mfs probably think hiphop started gang violence lmaoo/smh Shits funny and sad.

The media is brainwashing you mfs into believing its hiphops fault and you dumb mfs are letting em. Educate yourselves.

No you're missing the point, the colloquial use of nigga among other groups besides black Americans is due to hip hop

Had hip-hop never happenned I believe that "nigga" would've made itself into mainstream vocabulary anyway. By the late 70's it was starting to appear in Black entertainment more and more….white people would've caught on eventually.

"I'm yo momma, I'm yo daddy I'm that nigga in the alley"

- Curtis Mayfield

and then you had Richard Pryor..and all the Black movies...

^^^^This no matter what we as black people do, it will eventually become popular in mainstream America.

That's a fact…but my point is had it not been hip-hop it would've been any other form of black entertainment because nigga was starting to become increasingly used in black entertainment anyway beginning in the 70s

Idk. Theres no way to be sure. If only we could compare other words with roots in other subgroups that became mainstream

The fundamental issue here is respect.

Either u respect ppl or u don't.

If u know ppl don't like u to refer to them by something and u do so anyway, that's disrespectful.

There is no justification when u break it down like that.

It isn't used at all in general conversation unless amongst mostly HipHop fans/heads (rap lyrics) but I think it's mostly an issue of geography and history

These young dudes are pathetic in here

They really didnt know'ngga' was used just as much in the 70s
