Nah, bruh. I'd take 2Pac's Violent baseline before that

Tupac - Violent

That song is cool and has a lot of bass. But its a sample from Mr Loverman by Shabba Ranks. Sounds like they turned the bass up.

Magic Mike CDs were essential, if you had big speakers, back around '90.

Yeah, I grew up in Massachusetts so bass music wasn't really that popular. It wasn't until I got older that I got a system with sub woofers. Then I felt like I missed out on a lot of good music. I started noticing that a lot of songs that I liked as a kid either had sub-bass that I didn't know about, or didn't have any sub-bass at all.

Now that I'm older I definitely prefer sub-bass to no sub-bass.

Mystikal's Still Smokin Pt.2 is a slapper

E-40 Got it hits super hard if you have good speakers

50 Cent Gangsta's Delight

It wasn't as big in Miami besides when the Djs played it during battles, but when I was in Orland,or Tallahassee, niggas trunks use to be rattling playing this and people went crazy in the club

Thats one of those songs I was talking about. I remember I had the album when it was out, but I didn't have a proper system to appreciate the bass. I'm just hearing it on a 2.1 system for the first time. And to think, I had the album back in 1986!
