I almost feel like I need to write the goddamn track at this point, just to save Hip-Hop from this softness.
bruh you could just take lines from IC Drake roast threads and Big Ghost blogs and make ether 2015.
That's why I don't understand wtf Meek is doing.
Drakes an easy target.
There's nothing he can say about Drake at this point that somebody else hasn't already said. Meek allowed his window of opportunity to come and go. Even if he does respond it'll probably be too little too late. It's kind of ironic that Drake being the industry punching bag for so long may actually work in his favor this time because anything Meek says will likely be recycled jokes/jabs. Meek can't go bar for bar w/ Drake. He can't brag about money and accolades.
He can't take the street route. He can't clown Drake for being soft or tricking on bitches. He can't clown him for having a ghost writer on "some" tracks because Drake can actually write/rap w/o them. His only hope is to dig up some serious dirt on Drake that hasn't already been exposed.
Umm why can't he do any of that? He probably should do all of it. Just because it's been said before? No ones put it all in a diss before and everyone is paying attention right now. Doesn't have to be recycled if Meek is capable of coming with original bars.
Ether was deadly because it was part character assassination and part humor to win the crowd.
Making fun of Drake can be pretty fucking funny, word to Reason threads, big Ghost, Charlamagne etc. And Drakes whole authenticity as an MC is under question because of the ghostwriter allegations. Drake dropping a pretty good diss didn't change that.
Meek has plenty of ammo if he uses it right. No idea if he will, we'll see.
