regardless of what meek says he cant win this...

meek is a content rapper...he is limited by his street mentality raps and image.

drake is more versatile . he has no limits and sings shit and has no image he cares about.

its like a suburban kids who can box fighting a thugged out street nigga who cant fight but aint got his gun on him.

@Sion

I almost feel like I need to write the goddamn track at this point, just to save Hip-Hop from this softness.

bruh you could just take lines from IC Drake roast threads and Big Ghost blogs and make ether 2015.

That's why I don't understand wtf Meek is doing. Drakes an easy target.

There's nothing he can say about Drake at this point that somebody else hasn't already said. Meek allowed his window of opportunity to come and go. Even if he does respond it'll probably be too little too late. It's kind of ironic that Drake being the industry punching bag for so long may actually work in his favor this time because anything Meek says will likely be recycled jokes/jabs. Meek can't go bar for bar w/ Drake. He can't brag about money and accolades. He can't take the street route. He can't clown Drake for being soft or tricking on bitches. He can't clown him for having a ghost writer on "some" tracks because Drake can actually write/rap w/o them. His only hope is to dig up some serious dirt on Drake that hasn't already been exposed.

Umm why can't he do any of that? He probably should do all of it. Just because it's been said before? No ones put it all in a diss before and everyone is paying attention right now. Doesn't have to be recycled if Meek is capable of coming with original bars.

Ether was deadly because it was part character assassination and part humor to win the crowd.

Making fun of Drake can be pretty fucking funny, word to Reason threads, big Ghost, Charlamagne etc. And Drakes whole authenticity as an MC is under question because of the ghostwriter allegations. Drake dropping a pretty good diss didn't change that.

Meek has plenty of ammo if he uses it right. No idea if he will, we'll see.

most of that shit dont even b funny tho

Not to derail but I think Kendrick is mostly trash as a rapper and a musical artist

Big Sean and J Electricity both washed him on control

If you make a thread I'd be glad to debate what I just said.

Damn social media is killing Meek. Ain't ever seen so many memes at one person in a day

All the memes are hilarious but how did this escalate from decent diss to Ether & Hit Em Up combined lol. Drake didn't hurt him that bad.

It ain't that drake himself hurt him, it's the circumstances. Drake already has the bigger fan base (pop/mainstream appeal). So to see this pop artist who may not even be responsible for his own lyrics actually hit a booth up and send shots at all is crazy. Meanwhile the real rap nigga is hitting up Twitter and has radio pump faking on his behalf so it ain't looking good. Shame that limp wristed media is getting the w here.

Meek lacks the wit to recycle stuff we already know about Drake and make it effective. Drake has been clowned so much for that stuff in the past that it's like "ok.....we already know XYZ, but do you have anything that we haven't heard". Meek can't question his street cred because everyone knows Drake is not a street dude. He's never claimed to be a street dude. If anything, Meek is supposed to be the street dude, but he's always doing some very suspect shit. He can't clown Drake for being soft or tricking because Drake has never hidden his "emotional side" and he has always embraced his trickish/simpish/hating ways. How many other rap nigguhs are going to sing... "Fuck that nigga that you love so bad.................I'm just saying you could do better". Hating ass Drake......everybody knows....nothing new. The ghost writing incident is the only halfway legit thing that he can say and even that has lost some of it's steam.

Ether was deadly because the person delivering the ether ( top 10 GOAT ) was deadly on the mic and skilled enough to craft a dope diss track against another top tier MC. Meek is no Nas. Meek isn't even top 20 in his peer group. If Meek wants to win, which I don't think he can at this point, he's going to have to pull out some crazy unexpected, undeniable shit.

That's Drake #1 advantage. He has no image to maintain other than the vulnerable rapper he's always painted himself as. That's why his disses are causing a reaction. Its the 1st sign of aggression anybody has seen since Stay Schemin and that was the 1st time. People already know the shots Meek can take so unless he drops a classic diss or some New info then it's gonna be viewed as lukewarm. Drake admits he's a corny nigga who in between falling in love with strippers apparently is out smashing 90% of these niggas women. Meek better be on Smack DVD type battle raps to pull this one out

And with OvO festival this weekend if Meek drops anything between now and then it's the perfect set up for Drake to pull a move live on stage
