Vick had 40 seconds on the clock, with 1st and 10, when he snapped the ball on the INT. That's not that crunched for time

Continue to ignore that if the Kicker made the kicks, they would have won regardless, looking at the score. He would have beaten the Superbowl champs in the first round and who knows what could have happened?? He could have won the whole thing himself(imo he would have) but his kicker fucked up/got paid off.

You gotta b kiddin me about Kolb. People talked HEAVY shit about Kolb last season. They did say Vick fit better because of the O-Line. But there was still plenty of "Get that bum Kollb out the game. Kolb never should have been startin in the first place." It was a call for Vick to come in, NEVER a call to get a line to protect Kolb. He was not given the benefit of the doubt in Philly.

the ppl talking heavy sht about Kolb for some reason tried to act like ppl thought he was gona be the next Tom Brady or some sht which he obviously isnt

Reid risked his job handing the reigns over to Kolb so i dont see how that was not giving somebody the benefit of the doubt

and not like Reid isnt trying to get an oline he got Peters 2 years ago and they were really counting on the Andrews brothers but that blew up in their face and Jamaal Jackson is made of toilet tissue now

And James Jones dropped a would be TD pass right before halftime. Both teams left points on the field.

I'm not sayin Reid isn't tryna put a good team around Vick. I'm sayin Kolb was basically dismissed as a QB that wasn't very good, while Vick was defended as a great QB that just needed protection. But they both suffered behind the same line...they just had a diff fan reaction.

People play against difficult circumstances every year in the NFL. But most are judged on how they did despite their obstacles. Vick is judged on what he COULD do if his obstacles weren't there.

Vick has fumbled the ball 7 times already. Vick holds onto the ball to long people need to stop blaming the oline.

Clearly, you don't watch the games. Is Vick holding the ball too long when he gets hit as soon as the ball is snapped?

Let's recap the game:

Jackson bats a ball that hit him right in the hands right to a defender
O linemen stop almost every redzone run with penalties
Kicker misses too short FGs
Defense lets the 49ers score 21points in a quarter
Maclin fumbles on what could have been game winning drive

So are we making excuses when we say it's not Vick's fault. I mean he only put up nearly 500 yards of offense.

False! Most of the trips to the redzone ended up in either a turnover or a field goal

What? There were only two turnovers and neither of those came off of plays snapped in the redzone. Why did those other drives end in FGs? Every time they got down there, someone's got a penalty and backed them up. Did you actually watch the game?

man Vicke threw for 400 yards and ran for 70 plus.... his team lost this game defense and Maclin fumbling

Vick had a good game today. Let's remember it was against the 49ers, but 400 yards is good against anyone. Good completion % too.

I put this loss on the defense, the kicker, and the coaching staff. Take away Vick's carries, and the Eagles had 46 passes and 12 carries. Winning 20-3 at half, and won't run the ball.

Yea I did watch the game, but the redzone offense has been garbage. They only got to the redzone like 7 times this game

Only? How many times did they need to get there? If they scored TDs on more then 2 of those 7, they would have won. One opportunity was squandered when Brown did his stupid crap. The other four redzone drives were stalled by silly penalties.

They went 2/7 in the redzone buddy
2 were touchdowns, 2 were missed field goals, 1 was the ronnie brown shit

What are you not understanding here? Why did they have to kick those FGs when they were driving down the field at will? The drives didn't just fizzle. They got penalized and backed up. That's what happened to lead to all the FGs, missed and made. Your offense is not going to convert consistently in the redzone if you're constantly getting backed up by penalties. Those are drive killers.

Dog, you just arguing to argue. When did I say 2/7 was the majority of anything? They had 4/7 redzone drives end in field goal attempts. 2 were missed, 2 were made. All 4 of those drives stalled sure to penalties not bad passes, not bad runs, but penalties that pushed them back.
