His Young Money Group is Gold (They dropped in Dec '09 so most of their sales can be attributed to '10, along with two major hits.)

Drake has a Gold EP for '09, Platinum LP for '10 along with numerous hits and features.

Nicki has a Gold LP for '10 and numerous features along with a few strong singles.

On top of that, Wayne himself has a Triple Platinum album on the YM imprint in 08 and two Golds since then.

You can't run an Imprint better than that. Yes Slim and Baby should get props, but Wayne's doing great. He put all of the pieces together before getting locked and his team could carry it WHILE HE WAS GONE. No one can carry the ROC but Hova.

One more thing, CEO's on Majors are judged by Hits first, then longevity. In other words, even if Drake and Nicki don't have long careers, if he can replace them with some more hot artists, he's doing a great job still.

my main point was Wayne hasn't really done much to be considered a better CEO since his two biggest acts were needles in a haystack....it's not like Wayne just saw these two nobodies in a mall somewhere and TRANSFORMED them in Drake and Nikki....both artists were arlready doin thier thing and Wayne provided the hottest platform at the time....now if the rest of YM was too follow suit and generate the same kind of success Drake and Nikki had then yes Wayne would be considered the better CEO but then again how is he better if everyone is sayin he doesnt even run his own company....Jay didnt run Roc-a-fella but he split away from Dame so he could RUN Roc Nation his way...why would anyone believe he doesnt actually have his hand in everything that goes on there.....

from a label standpoint, Wayne has outdone Jay-Z in the fact that it didn't take nowehre near as long for another artist to be recognized on his label...in no way do I think Wayne is a better business man than Jay, but from the success of the artists under them, Wayne's done more with YM than Jay has done so far...i mean think about it, how many labels really can survive and have other artists still dropping hits when their star is in jail? I mean aside from B.O.B.
