Oh really, so Nas didn't run to Lauryn Hill at the height of their popularity, he didn't run to Will I Am at the height of his popularity, he didn't run to Timbaland at the height of his popularity, didn't run to Chris Brown, etc. Stop the bullshit dude, stop treating Nas like he is this religious figure, he is a oppurtunist like Jayz is.

Nas aint no religious figure... Read.. Will I Am PRODUCED HHID... you you gonna call him sing "it's dead" a feat then God Bless you. Foxy was a nobody on Affirmative Action... she did NOT have an album out then, and Lauryn did not have a solo out at that point.. Nas was a bigger artist than both.. Timbaland is another fucking producer. Lemme see when Illmatic came out Nas had Pete Rock, Premo, LP, LES and Q-Tip on the tracks... I guess those are features too? Stop being silly hommy

But Em punchlines/worplay be corny and forces alot of the time.... All Em really do is out flow everybody and ppl say he went in but when u slow it down and listen that shit be weak.... Jay-Z said shit in 96 that ppl just gettin nowa days.... Bar for Bar i think Hov is superior because his double entendres/metaphors/punchlines are well thought out but effortless at the same time.... Em is only better than Hov on a personal level IMO other than that NOPE.

I'm sure you mentioned not even listening to Eminem albums, so how can you possibly judge? Radio songs? Guest appearances? Come on now. Stop putting Jay on some pedestal. The nigga dropped like three garbage disc in a row. I remember him talking about a eminem collab album right before the shows they did. Miraculously, it turned into a collab album with a mediocre lyricist, Kanye. What does that tell you? Like Ether, Renegade is still eating at that nigga soul.....

So Will I Am was coming off the Black Eyed Peas who's album just sold millions, Lauryn Hill didn't come off THE SCORE that just sold 12 million copies, dude fucking stop it. You niggas don't have a drop of objectivity in your body, Lauryn Hill just so happened to be at the height of her popularity at the time coming off KILLING ME SOFTLY.

SMH at you dismissing Timbaland when he was in his prime and just come off producing Aaliyahs One in a Million album and what not

See I can't have a serious discussion with you man no one was "dissing" Timbaland I was just stating the fact that he produced the fucking track... Timbaland is a Producer, as was Will I Am... were/are they highly sought after, yeah... but your average BEP fan aint checking for a Nas song b/c Will produced it... we both know that. Timbaland has produced for everyone, he didn't rap on any Nas song.. he wasn't credited with Featuring Timbaland. He was behind the scenes. The height of Lauryn's popularity was AFTER she released the MOLH, not The Score. Again at the time of If I Ruled the World, NAS was the bigger name, however, Lauryn was gaining serious momentum.

But i did listen to his albums tho... It was like toture but i sat there and listened to everything.... And everything was highly forgettable... Lyrically yall put him on a pedastal that he doesnt deserve... And Wack Albums? Kingdom Come>>>>> Encore and Relapse comebined.... So Jay-Z wackest album is better than Em's Wackest Album and Jay-Z's best Album is better than Em's Best Album.... Em is not everything yall make him out to be. Granted he does have Talent NO ONE can take that from him no matter why u may not like him but he's far from the Best...

So you sat there and listened to a complete discography of a rapper you don't enjoy? I applaud you. Vol.1, Vol.3, BP2, Best of Both Worlds 1& 2, KC, The Mash Up idiocy are all horrid albums. I mean that's damn near half his catalog. Yet this nigga is rated so highly? How?

BP3 is Jay's worst album, followed by Kingdom Come... but you make very salient points

That's what seperates Jay Z and them Punchline/Metaphors Rappers from Artists like Eminem & 2pac genstasia Eminem & 2pac put emotion and passion in their Music it's heart felt Music real life struggles on wax emotional Music what gives Em the edge is he can Write & perform Catchy Hook's & Harmonize but is Lyrically so great but actually say's somethin about life experiences unlike so many others

Jay Z can't make classic heart felt records like this

But Eminem can easily make records like this that Jay Z does but much better than him just the Hook alone on this is better than anything Jay Z ever done as far as commercially

Eminem is a great Song Writer from Lyrics to Hook's to personal topics to how he structures Song's that's what seperates him he is the most complete Artist he Rap's/Sing's/Produces covers so many topics & also can entertain with a persona

The Eminem Show is better than any Jay Z Album

And you outta your mind if you think Kingdome Come, Blueprint 3 & The Dynasty are better than Encore & Relapse

There are 10 Platinum artists on the 2002 JayZ's "Blueprint 2 Gift & Curse".....gotta be a damn record.

...in comparison Nas 2002 "Godson" had 1 platinum artist...Alicia Keyes on a non single.
