I always thought Nas was overrated....he is what you call a pseudointellecutal, don't know what it means? look it up, he has some good songs that everybody likes, but he is mad boring to listen to, has bad taste in beats, had a couple of garbage albums takes way to many loses. Motherfuckers on here think he is some sort of scholar trying to give out historical and philosophical advice....come on man smoke a blunt and think about life and you can come up with the same stuff probably even way better then this dude.

Hell yeah. I can't listen to Nas much, he's one of the most boring rappers of all time. His lyrics save him.....but GODAMN, I never fell asleep listening to an album before....except for Street's Disciple. Wow.....what a boring album. Nas is overrated but I give him top 5 status.

Nas will somehow get top 5 mainstream wise because of all these generic rappers, but he is incredibly boring. Don't get me wrong he has nice lyrics, but nothing mindblowing the way people make it seem. I don't hate the dude just can't get it to him sorry.

Smack That which was Produced by him and features him but was Akon's Song

Shake It which also was succesful on the Chart and reached the top 10

The Real Slim Shady which according to most DJ's is massive in the club's all over Europe

Ass Like That which also reached the top 10 in the Chart
so if we cross out smack that , he has no club bangers
smack that was popular cuz of the hook

I gotta repeat myself for the dumb people

One of the reasons i appreciate Eminem so much is he will make a Song with the deepest topic i can relate to which is parenting, he will also say the deep content about his daughter for example in the most Lyrical way and at the same make the Hook Melodic and catchy

So heres the break down

A = Deepest content is covered by Eminem like parenting, poverty, political opression, drug addiction, family

B = He say's all these deep, emotional topics in the most Lyrical way using Multi's and painting pictures in listeners head's with story telling

C = He Sing's his Hook's really good and uses a lotta Melody in his Music

So in a nutshell no one has his balance

Eminem is like 2pac he'll cover the most deepest topics that relate to millions of people but unlike 2pac Eminem will make a Song dedicated to his daughter or about escaping poverty but say it using Multi's

So he has the deep topics he actually say's something deep majority of his Song's wise but Lyrically with story telling too

Only made 2 classics with Illmatic and It Was Written with Illmatic being the universally accepted classic

Made some aweful wack Album's like -

Nastradamus (one of the worst Album's ever)

Streets Disciple

Hip-Hop Is Dead

Average Album's like -

God Son

Untitled

I Am

Can't make Club Bangers

Say's things that are historically false in his Lyric's

Need's other Artists to do his Hook's for him most the time

Not diverse in topic's as far as being able to relate to everyone with his message

Yes 2 me iz 100% over-rated, he AIN'T a wack rappa, but definetly WWAAYY overrated, J (Antichrist) Z's "Takeover/Superugly waz better than "Either" if ya ask me.

"Illmatic" IZ NOT A Classic, what's so "CLASICAL" bout it????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If a Rapper is born in a certain City/State he or she is considered from there

Even if they were born in Atlatna for example lived there for 10 years then moved to New York with their family and lived there till this day so they would have lived in New York for lets say 30 years and Atlanta for 10

But the IC considers people being born some where as where they from

this is a false statement...pac is considered to be from cali but wasnt born there, budden wasnt born in jersey, luda wasnt born int atl, its plenty others
