You can make a case for a lot of folks having bad beats, and I think people over react to his beat selection.

But Nas doesn't touch people like Eminem does

I always thought Nas was overrated....he is what you call a pseudointellecutal, don't know what it means? look it up, he has some good songs that everybody likes, but he is mad boring to listen to, has bad taste in beats, had a couple of garbage albums takes way to many loses. Motherfuckers on here think he is some sort of scholar trying to give out historical and philosophical advice....come on man smoke a blunt and think about life and you can come up with the same stuff probably even way better then this dude.

Opinions do exists when it comes to music.

Different things appeal to different people, a poor person can be affected however by a song like "I Gave You Power" or "Project Windows" or even "Ochie Wally"

See Eminem makes records like Mockingbird, Mosh, Soldier etc the world relates to

Mr Nas you are a legend but please say somethin relatable lo

Because if you a Gangsta of course you gonna relate to Soldier by Eminem

If you from the Hood of course you gonna relate to Mosh

If you a parent or love Music that is Soul driven you gonna love and relate to Mockingbird

You must be white because Nas has countless songs that everyday people can relate to.

It does make my blood boil cos honestly a record like Mockingbird changed my life

Lose yourself gives me hope

Beautiful touches my Soul

Say Goodbye To Hollywoood defines pressure in life

what about the track off of Nas with Quan "just a moment"

or that one track with lauren hill " if I ruled the world"

or that one "it ain't hard to tell"

and that one track where he probably had all the kids singing thru every neighborhood "I can" a postive song for the youngstas..

Nas is still the best rapper alive until Lupe proves otherwise, but he's living off music he made in the 90's. His lyrical content is still good but his beat selection has been suspect and his past three albums have been average at best.

Those records are really good but heres the thing

Lauren Hill made If I Ruled The World dope with out here it twouldn'tas half as good with out Lauren Hill's Chorus

Quan made Just a Moment dope with out him it would have been average with out Quan't Chorus and Verse

Some of Nas best work was in this decade. His past 3 albums were Untitled, Hip Hop Is Dead and Street Disciple, the first two were critically acclaimed while the last one was slightly panned and understandably so.
