Jay Z is an average Rapper who has made a good Album with Reasonable Doubt but some of the worst Album's ever too and mostly average or poor Album's ranging from Volume 2 to Volume 3 to The Dynasty to Blueprint 2 to Kindome Come to Blueprint 3

Jay's content is predominantly based on selling drug's and materalism

He gets features to do the Hook's on his Song

He lacks emotion, soul & substance in his Music and lacks creativity

Technically speaking there are many others from Fabolous to Mase who are better as far as Multi's/Metaphors/Word Play go

Just telling you why i don't like his Music no hating

Well, in New York nobody (black) is bumping Em's new album. They don't even know it's out. I only learned about it from this forum.

Eminem is not on black people's radar. It's equivalent to that Justin Bieber kid dropping an album...who cares.

I just want to say that a member of the black men's forum at my school sent an e-mail to everyone on the mailing list talking about how great 'Recovery' was...so are college students self hating coons too?

I already disproved most of this shit but you ignored it, as usual. Seriously, I'm beginning to think you caught feelings over the bars in "Girls, Girls, Girls"

But again i seen Eminem get played in predomimantly black neighbourhoods by black people so your statement is an opinion not a fact, i myself know black people that own his CD's

What you saying isn't a reality i mean people aren't racially motivated as you think people in the real world who are black have no problem with him being white it all comes down to the Music

i forgot about Relapse and Encore being timeless classics.

i actually like both artists, but no need painting a picture with the wrong colors.

It has nothing to do with the fact that he's white. It's the content of his music. You know, the whole dissing pop (female) stars, hating your mother thing...yeah that doesn't sit well with a lot of people.

Unless, you're informed about his racist tapes, then the fact that he's white and used the N word in a derogatory manner, would dismiss him from your catalog of music to listen to.

I personally, fit in both of these categories.

Encore is an average Album & Relapse is good

However The Slim Shady LP, The Marshell Mathers LP & The Eminem Show are critically acclaimed undisputed classics by general consensus

The Marshall Mathers LP is considered one of the greatest Album's ever made

Reasonable Doubt is Jay Z's best Album and in 1996 no one called it a classic

i'm aware of em's other albums, but encore and relapse weren't good albums. i'm not knocking eminem, i like his music. but at the same time, jay has a great track record too. In 1996, most people didn't, you are right. But they do now. I'm just saying you can't act like Jay doesn't have a nice resume and Em's is perfect. It's not true in either account.
