Have you seen Vice's Big Night Out Series? In particularly this video? According to Vice, typical Brits do not get Hip-Hop at all. In fact, this little 5 minute documentary kind of flames of the shit out of it. Now mind you, this is Bristol. And I think that's like an hour and some change out from you.


So what are your thoughts on this fuck shit? Because I think it can go one of two ways.

Either this is an accurate depiction of Hip-Hop culture in the UK, in which case it would explain a lot in terms of your opinions.

Or it isn't, in which case dismiss the video entirely. It's cool to me because Ive never been to EU, and wouldn't be able to confirm or deny.

However if it isn't, then I'd like you to step back for a second.

Do you realize, your like a Mexican trying to comment on Reggae to some of us? The music wasn't made for your demographic in the first place, so I could care less about whats going on in your hood, and it's interaction with Hip-Hop. I'm trying to respectfully figure out why the fuck do you even bother posting some of the shit your posting, and proving some of the points you try to prove, in relation to a culture that has very little to do with you outside of your listening interest. And then you try to insert off the wall shit that has very little to do with the typical principals of what even makes a good rap artist. I gave up all hope for you when you said that shit about melodic hooks being a prerequisite for a good artist. Do you even seriously get what's going on over here outside of just the music? Or are you seemingly just as confused and weird looking as the folks in the video.

But there's too many real niggaz like Me, Gee, & ShadyTeam gettin trolled and banned. Sure Gee's constant mentioning of Eminem and 50 gets old but he's only keepin it 100 and he's trying to maintain the integrity of the intellectual's intellect by chin checkin their contradictions. And since he's from Virginia I'm not mad at him. I lived there for 10 years as a kid. I'll always have a special place in my heart for Virginia.

But anyway.

As far as ShadyTeam goes. The endless trolling of her just becuz she's beautiful gets annoying than a muthafucka, I can't even lie. What makes it so bad is that she be keepin it all of the way 1000 and can't NONE of y'all handle her - becuz she's right 90% of the time (she's trippin about Nas and her recent comments about Rozay even tho I think she was just being sarcastic about Ross).

I've yet to really see anybody legitimately correct her or prove her wrong or make her look stupid. Niggaz be flaggin her posts just for her attention and to look cute. I be sittin back in amaze sometimes becuz y'all niggaz be lookin mad thirsty lol. Its even wacker becuz she be makin legitimate statements that have some play to em but niggaz be actin like little children when she comes around and fuck off a whole thread on some stupid shit just becuz shawty look good. I'm reading that Breakfast Club thread and u got niggaz with trolling segweys talkin about "he ain't talkin about uplifting the community" when clearly he said he got that 109room mansion for underprivileged kids. And since Mr. Farakahn would rather shine on negatives and rather not practices what he preaches and ignores said information then shit gets corny. Then some dudes say his sound hasn't changed since "Port Of Miami" when clearly each Ross album has its own sound, most of his mixtapes included. Then some niggaz is like "he only talks about his monies" when clearly he's bridging that gap when he's talking about putting his folks on at the same thing - which is very positive.

Ross ain't hardly the only artists this happens too either. U got niggaz puttin they foot in they mouth right and left. How u gonna be bloggin and don't understand YOU or what you're talkin about, let alone the fact that what you're saying is pure hate. Social Media doesn't have to work that way when clearly there's alotta undercover teamwork going on. We can be different and we can be better. We can be bigger and we can be stronger.

As far as underground artists not getting the same attention it's not our fault that they're just not that interesting and that even y'all who complain don't even know that much about said artist or their catalog. This is entertainment as well as Art, make them niggaz entertaining.

And pretty soon if they keep banning niggaz the way they do (for stupid shit) then they ain't gonna have nobody left. Truth be told The Reason is starting to look all too familiar. I'm starting to literally see the same TEN people in every thread. Shits lookin like dejavu day by day, same with G&S too.
