Who unbanned that poster? Aim your post at them.

eliminate the essence, so we can get good hip hop discussion mixed in with the bullshit shadyteam spam threads and that gay ass tmac looking cats troll threads, other than that I wouldn't know if theres more or less users, all I know is sometimes ill read the front page of the reason and think Nas' Hip Hop is dead album holds more true now then it did then

yeah but then that means we have to deal with the Eminem music only there's no balance!

There would be balance and more activity most his fan base like someone like 2pac for example because of similarities. So basically rappers popular in the real world would get discussed praised on here or even new artists most Em fans love like B.o.B again because of similarities

It makes no sense in expecting a board to be cracking wen everyone praises rappers irrelevant or disliked in the real world

U think females are gonna join if rappers liken Joell Ortiz, Tech 9, Nas, Jay Z, Royce, Chino XL, Cannibus etc are discussed and praised on the IC? no way would females be encouraged to join wen these kinda rappers get praise on here.

For a board to be crackin there has to be appreciation of what people in the real world outside the board love otherwise no 1 new will wanna join

Tell me this ain't real trill talk if u look at it from a getting the board more active perspective

I believe he likes the rappers he praises and really ain't into the rappers he says he dislikes i believe he sincere about that. Wat makes people think he is 1 is because he will throw in a few jokes say a few witty comments in his threads to get the threads he makes more cracking

But i believe wat he says for the most part are his views he just uses humour to show he distinctive from other posters

no 1 said it is @nujerz‌

But by the law of average most people being fans of him will be discouraged to join the IC based on the hate/trolling on the IC. and this will also discourage females to join as he has a bigger female fan base than any other rapper or producer

If people see The Beatles being hated/trolled on a board that will discourage lurkers to sign up to that board too. People gotta realize artists like Eminem, The Beatles, Micheal Jackson, Prince are instituations it goes deeper than just music with them they represent a generation after generation of fans

If Em got the due love as GOAT on here, respect as the icon he is, respect for being the legend on here then u will see more new posters, more sexy females who are fans of his on here as by the law of average based on his popularity most people are fans

I'm sorry but one name does not belong in this list. The Beatles, Michael Jackson, and Prince changed the the landscape of music as a whole. For all the records that Eminem has sold, he has not changed the landscape of music.

Someone hit the nail on the head with that "...its a reflection of the current state of the culture" comment. The decline is happening because now cats are better at describing the details of (fill in the rapper) 's outfit than they are at posting an unbias review of some new music.

music doo doo the forum is doo no more real raps beefs not much to talk about honestly, we always had stans there not the whole problem its the music period

@Guntown from the UK, correct?

West/North West London yeah

Right, right cool... so let me ask you this.

Have you seen Vice's Big Night Out Series? In particularly this video? According to Vice, typical Brits do not get Hip-Hop at all. In fact, this little 5 minute documentary kind of flames of the shit out of it. Now mind you, this is Bristol. And I think that's like an hour and some change out from you.

So what are your thoughts on this fuck shit? Because I think it can go one of two ways.

Either this is an accurate depiction of Hip-Hop culture in the UK, in which case it would explain a lot in terms of your opinions.

Or it isn't, in which case dismiss the video entirely. It's cool to me because Ive never been to EU, and wouldn't be able to confirm or deny.

However if it isn't, then I'd like you to step back for a second.

Do you realize, your like a Mexican trying to comment on Reggae to some of us? The music wasn't made for your demographic in the first place, so I could care less about whats going on in your hood, and it's interaction with Hip-Hop. I'm trying to respectfully figure out why the fuck do you even bother posting some of the shit your posting, and proving some of the points you try to prove, in relation to a culture that has very little to do with you outside of your listening interest. And then you try to insert off the wall shit that has very little to do with the typical principals of what even makes a good rap artist. I gave up all hope for you when you said that shit about melodic hooks being a prerequisite for a good artist. Do you even seriously get what's going on over here outside of just the music? Or are you seemingly just as confused and weird looking as the folks in the video.

There is truth to this. Some people do try to mimic American HipHop culture in a ridiculous way, or it's mostly treated like pop music and is just something to listen to. There's nothing wrong with the latter imo, the former is annoying. Calling Bristol the Bronx is a joke. The UK simply does not have the same socio-economic or racial politics of America to make that kind of comparison. The reporter only said that because Bristol has a large black population, it's lazy.

The way GunTown portrays London on here is a fantasy. Calling London "GunTown" is a joke. There is no gun culture here, these things are in no way comparable to the US. But people like her really try to mimic the idea of American Inner-cities because they think it's cool and have bought into the "Urban" branding of black American culture.

The reason was dead untili came back and kept it active. That's why so many voted for me to stay in The Reason in that thread a mod created because i keep it active and get people engaging in convos

What also makes new people reluctant to sign up and post is rappers like Nas, Royce, T.I., Wu Tang etc are worshipped on the IC and most people don't enjoy their music so people will be reluctant to sign up because if people speak their mind on rappers like Nas musically lacking. People will start hating on them and catch feelings. U only have to look how much his sales have declined so most people aren't buying his albums

??? i thought that was the whole point of the forum ?? its not always about posting like music ... sometimes its about debating or stating how you feel about stuff ... sometimes it goes over board but theres a place for that heere too ... i couldnt see not signing up because someone might not like a Grand Puba song i posted ... if you dont like it SPEAK UP !! lol if you like lol ....
