Alright folks, so I've been thinking of ways of how to bring more traffic to The IC and I would like to share it with y'all
I've been lurking on other forums to see what they're doing to bring in traffic and we could possibly apply that on here too.
My first idea would be to put the ill community out on social media more.
For instance, The coli got an instagram account that has over 27k followers. They only put up memes, photoshops and funny clips. Which is not hard to do.
But by doing that, their traffic has increased tenfold. Because it's usually watermarked with "Thecoli" so naturally people wanna check out the website and where all this funny stuff is coming from.
We got some creative people on the IC, based on the photoshops we've done, memes, songs, parody songs, thread topics. If we could somehow integrate that with instagram or twitter with a "Ill community" handle I personally believe the IC could be the biggest forum out.
The account doesn't have to be linked with Allhiphop the website(just in case someone posts something controversial and allhiphop might get in trouble). It could be strictly about the Ill community.
Another forum that's on top is Boxden. The main reason why boxden is poppin is because they create threads almost every 30 minutes.
If there is a 50 cent beef, then their is a separate topic about everything in the beef( If Lloyd banks snuffs Rozay or whatever)
But we just merge threads. Lurkers don't have time to read through 150 pages just to get to the fight part.
Let posters create as many threads as possible, as long as its not the EXACT same topic. The merging is really holding us back.

I've seen celebrities use my Jordan cry face memes lmao. Don't get no damn credit for it. But I'll make sure to stamp "allhiphop" or "ill community" next time. Whichever is appropriate.

I think the twitter account is cool, but the user banned avi isn't bringing it more followers and all the account does is tweet threads. I think the account should be more active like Akademics.

Yeah I think it'll work if the people who work on the main website put in work.but I agree. With how we need to stop merging threads. And when threads go off the rails. We do need to shut that shit quick. Like that whole monizzle and getoboy bs in the jay thread should have been nipped in the bud before it went on for pages.
