Niggaz are on crack. Biggie was not that big when he was alive. he was like Puns level when he was alive. You never seen BIG at no award shows besides them black award shows like soul train or the source. you never seen him perform or even asked to perform at mtv awards or even introduce an award. BIG sold 1 million when he was alive.1 million or even two million didnt make a superstar back then. the Dogg Pound sold two million you gonna say they had that era on lock two right? he was no where near Pacs level of fame. maybe to hiphop fans but not to people as a whole. you know when you a superstar rapper when white folks say i wanna do a song with him like pac, jay-z eminem and etc. he was a star but no superstar. If you werent into hiphop or black most likely you didnt know who the hell Big was. However, Big change the game with drug raps even though he might have not been the first he was the one to make it famous. before him, most niggas rapped about how gangsta they are and how they are a pimp. But you big stans are living a lie saying that nigga was big like pac or he was the second biggest

U the 1 smokin that Glass pipe homie, not Us..........Esp wit the Bolded Statments..........

First Biggie won 2 Billboard Awards and was nominated for a Grammy while he was alive, so Yes he was going to those "Big Award Shows" you said he didn't. How many Billiboard awards did Pac win? Zero. Also The Dogg Pound came out during the West Coast Era in the Early 90's, of course they moved units, nobody denied the West had it on lock but it was Big that brought Hip Hop back to it's essense and put the shine back East. Of couse he didn't do it alone, Wu and NaS was there, but critical acclaim wasn't enough, you need sales, impact. Big became the most unlikely crossover artist in music history. Also, Biggie sold 2 Million while alive in Junior Mafia, he sold 3 Million and an additionally 5 Million in Singles Sales while alive. Big again also saw a Platinum award before Pac ever did for a solo album (Even though Pac had soundtracks he was featured on going Platinum at the time). You are doing everything to try and downplay Big's success and you have zero facts to back them up. Men lie, Message Board Posters lie, numbers don't. Big was winning Billboard awards, awards giving out specifically for sales:

Ready to Die was released on September 13, 1994, and reached #13 on the Billboard 200 chart,[19] eventually being certified four times Platinum.[20] The album, released at a time when West Coast hip hop was prominent in the U.S. charts, according to Rolling Stone "almost single-handedly... shifted the focus back to East Coast rap".[21] It gained strong reviews on release and has received much praise in retrospect.[21][22] In addition to "Juicy", the record produced two hit singles; the Platinum-selling "Big Poppa", which reached #1 on the U.S. rap chart,[4] and "One More Chance" featuring Faith Evans, a loosely related remix of an album track and its best selling single.
