Jay Z is the most overrated rapper of our time and hasn't put out a good album since The Black Album. He was always a good MC, but not good enough to warrant GOAT status. He's not a better rapper than Scarface, 2Pac, Ice Cube etc. He went head to head with Nas, and lost... And at the height of his career in the late 90's when Biggie died he wasn't the best rapper from NYC... DMX was easily better then Jigga back then.

I cant believe people try to argue Blueprint 3 was a good album. Shit was garbage.

Cosign. Good, but not great. People get his business sense confused with his rap skills, and forget that all he did was steal people's styles and make specific music based on what was hot at the time.
