TI>Big by a long shot. i wish you niggas could stop acting like biggie was some hip hop prophet sent from outer space to save hip hop. he may be a god to you new york niggas but he is just an artist to everyone else. ya he made bangers. LAD is my shit. biggie was a dope mc but he didnt do anything or say anything ground breaking in his raps. same nigga shit discussed from coast to coast. NY is just so lost without biggie they cant accept the fact that his 2 albums arent enough material produced to keep him relevant forever. even jay z>big.

i like biggie better however it is a good argument and......BIGGIE DID NOT SELL THAT MANY GODDAMN ALBUMS WHEN HE WAS ALIVE ONLY 1 MILLION FOR READY TO DIE AND ANOTHER 1 MILLION ADDED AFTER HE DIED......I'm 26 and biggie was not some superstar when he was alive bone thugs, warren G, Wu Tang Clan, Coolio, snoop, tupac, dr dre, (was more known as a rapper back then) were all more popular and sold more than biggie. Biggies own mom said biggie never hit the heights he was gonna hit while he was alive. Biggie didn't even have a top ten hit when he was alive. Juicy never reached over 28 and "give me one more chance" never reached top 10. 7million my ass

the only rappers to sell over 7 million up to the point were beasitie boys hammer and vanilla ice. to this day none of biggies album sold over 5 million. the only reason biggie is stated a selling 10 million is because life after death is a double album and soundscan count double albums twice

thats what im sayin.... niggas actin like biggie was god.... east coast cats are lost with out biggie or jay z...they are 2 of the very few east coast niggas that get/got play in other areas....( add dipset 2 that) i respect them dudes but still... i remember when the pac and big beef was goin strong... and i can damn near gaurentee you if u wassnt on the east coast most people was pickin pac.... if it wassnt 4 that niggas woulda had biggie as more of a " reagonal" rapper like jadakiss or ghostface cassidy ect...( people kno who they are but dont play they shyt like that) but t.i gets play in ALL areas and his word play is very exceptional..( i will post some in a second)... now i could understand if i said lil scrappy>>>>>biggie or plies>>>> biggie but yall dudes honestly think this man will not be touched off like 30 or 35 produced songs... and ive notice with east coast cats no matter who it is after they die they get put as 1 of the goats or @ least greats...( ex pun..... odb)....so if lil momma dies is she gone be better then lil kim in her prime?

Juicy reached #27; Big Poppa reached #6; One More Chance reached #2. Biggie was definitely more popular in the mainstream than the likes of Wu, Pac, etc.

And what album does T.I. have that rivals Ready To Die? And in what ways does it rival it?
