Too all the large bredd owners. Around what age did you feel comfortable leaving your dog outside when you're at work?

Even if you live in the greatest of places there are still idiots that drive around looking for bait dogs to fight. I've had nothing but big dogs and I never left them a lone outside

i would love to get a dog, but after my golden retriever died 2 years ago, on some real shit i dont think i can handle losing another one. I had her for damn near 12 years

CoSign to the fullest in June I had to make that choice and that shit tore me apart. I still have his bed and dishes out.

I volunteered a couple days at a dog shelter to walk the dogs. But I dont know about getting another dog anytime soon.

Fauria was trying to stop Lil' Rufio from urinating in the house when he misstepped & sprained his ankle at home.

Lions tight end Joseph Fauria missed Sunday’s game against the Jets because he suffered a sprained ankle — not on the field, but in his home.

Fauria said today that the injury happened while he was on his stairs, running to try to stop his three-month-old dog from urinating in the house. His dog is named Little Rufio.

Athletes have been known to concoct stories about their injuries when they’re injured off the field doing something they shouldn’t be doing. But this story is probably too ridiculous to be a lie. If you were going to make something up, wouldn’t you come up with something more believable?

The Lions have had odd injuries to their receiving corps before. Last year, the Lions lost receiver Nate Burleson for several games after he broke his arm in a car accident he caused by steering into a wall while reaching over into the passenger seat to keep a pizza from sliding onto the floor.

In Fauria’s absence, rookie tight end Eric Ebron got more playing time Sunday against the Jets. He made the most of it, catching a touchdown pass, and Fauria said he did a little dance to celebrate while watching from home.

“I almost sprained my other ankle celebrating Eric’s score,” Fauria said.

Now I'm only concentrating on getting back on the field ASAP! Please no death threats to Lil' Rufio, he's just a pup!

Lions tight end Joseph Fauria missed Sunday's game against the Jets with an ankle injury. Pretty standard stuff until you hear he injured his ankle while trying to stop his dog from peeing in the house.

The end zone dance machine missed a pair of steps while trying to stop his 3-month-old dog named Lil' Rufio from peeing on his rug.

Lil' Rufio looks to me like a baby husky of some sorts, but Fauria refers to him on Instagram as "The Fearless Pomsky," so maybe he's a Pomeranian?

Like another Pom I know, Lil' Rufio also has his own social media accounts, including a pretty adorable Instagram page.

Where, yes, he confirms he is "Half Pomeranian," "Half Husky" and a full-blown "Chick Magnet."
