While the Benoit thing and even today hearing about Roddy Pipper shocked the hell outta me, Owen Hart was the worst. I was a fan of Bret and Owen as a kid. The day before Over The Edge in 1999 was my 12th birthday and I wanted my mom to order the PPV for me as a B-day gift. For whatever reason she didn't and I still don't remember why. I know the next day at school everyone was talking about what happened and I was floored. Shit like that has never happened with the exception of Pillman but this hit even harder. Owen is a hall of famer and beloved by many fans. I never forget that night watching Raw is Owen and my older cousin and I damn near in tears. RIP Owen, Piper and everyone else we lost.
