I thought sheiky hated warrior too? Lol nancy grace.

Nah, he fucks around a lot.

On his IG, night of the HOF, he took shots at UW saying he had rasin balls and a mosquito dick, nh, but when he died, he made a video saying that he loves UW and that what he said on IG was just a work.

He shits on a lot of people for laughs, though.

DDP on being on NG

DDP should hae known better. Nancy went INNNNNNNN when Eddie died. That Botox faced bitch nigga Marc Mero was there too talking shit.

I'm glad DDP cleared things up though because it wouldn't have looked good for him to be apart of something that attacks the business like a typical Nancy Grace segment.

Chris Jericho shitted on Warrior every chance he got

This is another reason Warrior won in the end. He exposed all these hypocrites in the industry this past weekend. All these guys that shat on him on that DVD are now singing his praises like he said they would once the true story was allowed to be told by Vince.

Regardless of all the hypocrisy from a shitload of people who kicked dirt on Warrior for damn near 20 years in the end it's all better for the industry. Cements the man's legacy in it's proper light and shows future fans the real truth. Everything worked out for the best and I'm so glad Warrior got to see it all the way through before passing on.

He's got nothing to worry about as far as his life's work and it's place in history goes. His family will also be taken care of financially now that he ended up where he truly belonged in terms of his place in the industry and I'm sure died peacefully because of that.

He really was the HHH to Hogan and Savage's Austin and The Rock or The Batista to Cena and Orton of his day. To my generation the WWF trinity was Macho Man, Hogan and Warrior and it sucked that for the longest time 2 of those guys couldn't get their due retroactively cause of conflict and politics.

So a lot of fans that came in after the Attitude Era especially and during it really didn't know how vital and important and iconic those 3 superstars really were. It wasn't all just Hogan. Mach and Warrior were just as over as Hogan was in their primes and equally as important in helping WWF go from regional to national and global phenomenon. Now it's a different story and with the network WWE has truly immortalized them forever. All is right with the world.

I also applaud HHH actually for being the bigger man in reaching out to people like Backlund, Sammartino and Warrior and giving them their deserved HOF spots. I respect him a lot for that. Even Vince couldn't do that and lord knows he really tried.

this whole post is FACT. but the bolded is double truth. Macho, Warrior, Perfect, Rick Rude Steamboat and them made the IC strap mean something many times I cared about the fights for it more than I did the heavy weight strap

I got to watch the destruction on Ultimate Warrior DVD, and watch his reaction to the DVD. I know a lot of them shitted on his in-ring ability, but he didn't have to be technical, he was making them a lot of money like Hogan. No one shits on Hogan's in-ring ability which wasn't all that either.

Some people do shit on Hogan though...Flair, HBK and Bret notably have openly criticized Hogan.

I think it's not as widespread as Warrior because Hogan was easier to work with than Warrior was. He wasn't as sloppy either.

I didn't have a lot of respect for Warrior as a worker and honestly I still don't but after listening to the HOF speech where he said he was just doing the best he could and pushing himself despite being worn out from the entrance, I gave him credit because I never looked at it that way.

It is true he didn't have to be a great worker though. Vince knows exactly how to book guys like Warrior where it accentuates the positives and hides the negatives. He always had an abundance of other great workers to pair those guys with to help them as well. This is why DiBiase was pissed at Warrior because he knew guys like himself, Rude and Savage had to go out their way to make him look good and he didn't believe Warrior understood or respected it.

I like the Self-Destruction DVD even though it was mean-spirited and one sided it was funny as fuck. I think a lot of people took to defending Warrior because of that DVD as it made him a somewhat sympathetic figure. I mean how can you not feel bad for him? This guy was targeted by the big, bad evil WWE and made to look like a supreme asshole that didn't give a damn about anyone else or the business.

Well I see that over the years he gained some respect for the business and regained some of the respect from his peers and the younger guys (the DVD was released 10 years ago almost) so that would explain all the love he got over the weekend.

Warrior the person though damaged his own reputation with those crazy YouTube videos and his speeches that were offensive as hell to some people (not me, I thought they were hilarious) but he kind of made it difficult to see him as anything but what WWE said he was on the DVD...an asshole.

All that said, when people die the ones that knew them tend to remember fondly and forget the negatives, folk hate speaking Ill of the dead and instead they rather show respect. Being negative when someone dies, even if you truly feel that way is scumbag shit.

So I respect his sacrifice as I do all wrestlers and I will never forget the memories he created for me as a kid watching wrestling, he was one of the guys that made it fun to watch. Even if you don't like Jim or Warrior, you can still give him credit because as a character The Ultimate Warrior was badass.

Bret Hart lends his condolences:

“I’m deeply saddened at the sudden passing of Jim Helwig, The Ultimate Warrior. I wish I’d been kinder to him in the last moments that we had this past weekend at WrestleMania 30.

We did cross paths once or twice, but we were all so busy. I never went out of my way to see him, but if I could… I’d tell him he looked good. He looked content, and he looked like he’d finally found happiness within his children and his wife. He never ever harmed me nor did we really work with one another… I wish we had.

His final ring promo breaks my heart. I’ve many fond memories of times we shared, only now do they pile up in my head. I’d also tell him that he was right, he never was such a bad guy. My thoughts are with his wife and children. I never thought his time would be so short.

I know one thing, I will never forget him.

- Bret”

Well, damn.

Warrior had a TON of beef with dudes. Vince, Hogan, Jake the Snake, Ted DiBiase. I know why he had beef with Hogan (same reason as everyone else), but what were his issues with the other dudes?

The beef he had with Vince was that Warrior thought he wasn't being paid enough royalties for his merch. Warrior, more or less, forced his hand and got his money. Then come Summerslam (don't remember which year), Vince fired him after the show and accused Warrior of holding him up for more money (which was regarded as fact at the time). It turns out sometime last year, a letter Vince wrote turned up and it was about giving Warrior his money and agreeing to meet all his demands no questions asked. The shady thing about it was that letter was written roughly five or so months before summerslam. If you remember Warrior's HOF speech, you see him pulling out a check and asked Vince if it bounced

Right. Which begs the question: why the hell would Vince fire him anyway?

Dude was making money, Vince paid him after being asked and yet he fired dude anyway. That makes no damn sense.

He held up vince at the summerslam 91 show, Vince had to pay him half a million on the spot just so warrior could go out their for the show. In any business you don't do that to your boss....

Eddie was on his way to becoming a multiple time WWE champion and to being the main face of the WWE when he died. He was an excellent worker, had worldwide indy, Japan, and WCW experience and exposure, and his lie, cheat, and steal gimmick was over with the fans. Warrior was a delusional wrestler as shown on the DVD but RIP to him. The only one who deserved to die was Benoit/Pegasus Kid for the horrifying things he did which makes his accomplishments void.
