They're finally allowed to say the fucking F-word on The Walking Dead

A lot of the basic rules of society fell apart when the zombies took over on AMC’s The Walking Dead, which is why some characters on the show suddenly feel like it’s alright to wear dirty clothes, go a long time without shaving, and occasionally murder and eat fellow human survivors. Still, Rick and his friends have managed to avoid one hallmark of a thoroughly impolite society: cussing. Even with the arrival of Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s Negan—a character who says “fuck” every other word in the Walking Dead comics—everybody has avoided dropping a dreaded F-bomb. Unfortunately for the ears of selectively sensitive Walking Dead fans, though, that’s now going to change.

Walking Dead spin-off Fear The Walking Dead was actually the first one to break what we’re going to call the “fuck barrier,” with Frank Dillane’s character saying the F-word in a recent episode, and Fear showrunner Dave Erickson tells ComicBook.com that AMC recently agreed to let his show get away with two F-words per season. This new rule apparently applies to regular The Walking Dead as well, and though Erickson doesn’t know when this policy was put in place, he seems happy to benefit from it and has promised that Fear will use another “fuck” at some point. Meanwhile, other popular AMC shows have been enjoying their cussing for years, with Preacher, Breaking Bad, Halt And Catch Fire, and Mad Men all getting some chances to say “fuck.”

Still, at least Rick and the gang will now have another weapon they can use in their never-ending fight against the undead. Who knows, maybe a good “fuck you, zombies” is all they needed to turn things around for humanity.

Sad to say but this show is washed , I'll binge

S8 is make or break for me for this show.

8 seasons in they gotta start taking some real risks, do some new shit.

They really only killed off Sasha cuz she was leaving to star in star trek. And Negan putting her in a coffin made zero sense.

There better be some payoff the Eugene's character arc. I doubt it tho.

They cant be so predicable. Like focusing on some new character jus b4 they die etc

They cant be afraid to kill of main characters. Shake shit up. 8 seasons into the zombie apocalypse, no one should be safe.

They always kill off main characters. Glen and Abe were wacked right before Sasha.

It's too much group-think on this site sometimes. It seems like some people follow whatever the popular posters new wave is.

Ehhh. They were teasing Glenn's death for 2 seasons. Abe was jus part of a 2 for 1. And they really only killed off Sasha cuz she was leaving.

Most shows kill of characters that are leaving for other opportunities. TWD shouldn't be held to a different standard.

The Abe and Glenn deaths scenes were absolutely shocking. Trying to say otherwise is being dishonest.

What I believe was the issue that turned off some of their fans?.........

Allowing Tara to have an entire episode to herself. She's by far the least liked character on the show and they lost a lot of momentum when they wasted that episode on her last season.
