She also invited the teen, whose age is redacted from the SCI report, to her apartment to play with her Xbox game, he told them. He frequently rode in her car, where they occasionally “made out,” he said. Pauletti seduced him on her couch, kissing him, stroking his body, and performing oral sex on him three times, the SCI report says. In New York, an adult who has sex with someone under age 17 can be charged with statutory rape. Pauletti has not been charged. Pauletti admitted she engaged in oral sex with the boy “four or five times” in her apartment, but told SCI investigators that he asked her to do it. Pauletti confided to a friend that the youth had “nice abs” and showed a shirtless photo of him in her cellphone, the report says. She told investigators she bought him sneakers “because he told her he was poor and she felt sorry for him,” and a fit band because “he was a fitness fanatic.” Her defense lawyer, Peter Brill, told The Post that Pauletti paid for clothes and food for other needy students as well. “She denies consenting to having sexual contact with any student. She . . . was victimized by one of her students,” he said. “She was a victim of sexual assault.” Pauletti, who joined Sunset Park in 2010, was removed from the classroom in November 2014 when another teacher found an intimate letter she had written to the boy. She resigned in January 2015. Department of Education spokeswoman Devora Kaye called Pauletti’s behavior “incredibly disturbing.”

Update: Former Aldine ISD teacher, who had sex with 8th grader, sentenced 10 years

HOUSTON — The Aldine ISD middle school teacher who had sex with, and was even impregnated by, her 13-year-old student has been sentenced to serve 10 years in prison.

Alexandria Vera, 24, was facing a felony charge of continuous sexual abuse of a child, but reached a plea agreement on a lesser charge of aggravated sexual assault of a child.

Vera was an eighth grade English teacher at Stovall Middle School.

According to court documents, Vera met the student during summer school last year. The two started flirting, and by September, they exchanged phone numbers. The student asked Vera if they could hang out. Vera allegedly drove over to his house and picked him up, and they drove around and kissed. The very next day, Vera went back over to the teen's house when his parents weren't home and they had sex.

This next part is pretty hard to believe. In the probable cause document, Vera says that she met the boy's parents at the school's open house in October. Then, she went over to his house and was introduced as his girlfriend. The parents were allegedly "accepting of their relationship," even inviting her to family gatherings.

Vera told Aldine ISD police after that, she had sex with the teen "on almost a daily basis at her home." The student would allegedly sleep at her house and then she'd drive him back home in the morning so he could catch the bus to school.

Then in January of this year, Vera became pregnant. She allegedly told the teen's family about the pregnancy, and they were "supportive and excited" about the baby.

However, Vera claims she ended up having an abortion after CPS unexpectedly showed up at school in February to question her about the relationship. Vera denied any wrongdoing at the time, but police say they found evidence of the relationship on her cell phone.

I've seen a picture of the alleged victim. It's safe to say she didn't turn him out but given her position of power over him I get why they threw the book at her..

What I found interesting is when I saw this being reported on the news they added that there were 188 inappropriate teacher/student allegations being investigated in 2016 and 78 so far this year in Houston. Just saying I've never heard stuff like this when I was in school. Different times I guess..

A teacher's aide working at an upstate New York school for children with special needs has been arrested for allegedly having sex with a 15-year-old student in a park.

Alexandra Culhane, 24, was taken into custody on Monday and charged with felony rape and criminal sex act stemming from a suspected sexual encounter with the teenage boy a year ago.

According to Prosecutor John Carson, Culhane, who worked at The School at Northeast in Schenectady, engaged in oral sex and sexual intercourse with the victim in early April 2016 in the city’s Central Park.

The allegations against Culhane first came to light last year, when some of her colleagues at the school learned of her alleged tryst with the 15-year-old and contacted the Schenectady Police Department, sparking a months-long investigation, according to the Albany Times-Union.

Carson said on Tuesday that evidence gathered by police and the Justice Center for the Protection of People with Disabilities suggests that Culhane met the victim while he was enrolled at the school.

The School at Northeast serves special-needs children in grades 6 through 12. It is operated by Northern Rivers Family of Services.

A representative of the company said Culhane had worked for them for about a year. She had been placed on administrative leave at the outset of the criminal investigation last year, and was fired in February 2017.

The 24-year-old also coached the girls' junior varsity field hockey team at her alma mater, Scotia-Glenville High School, in the fall of 2015 and the fall of 2016, reported the station WNYT.

A spokesperson for the school district said Culhane was a seasonal employee, not a full-time staffer, and that they received no complaints about her conduct.

Before she was hired as a teacher’s aide at the special education school, Culhane worked as an activities assistant at Saint Peter’s Health Partners’ Eddy Memorial Geriatric Center in 2015, according to her Linkedin profile.

The 24-year-old woman was released after her arrest Monday pending her arraignment, which has been scheduled for July 3.
