do you consider beg for mercy & diplomatic immunity compilation album or group album

there were actually lead singles and a MAJOR push for these albums. This was a mixtape converted to an album

There is no flop! The record is flying off the shelves! Rozay has more momentum than any artist in the game today! The Black community is supporting this release!

lmao

thats 50,000 people that probably hadn't heard pill or mills before. it's just a glorified mixtape anyway, dont know how it'd be considered a flop

Right, this is just a project to showcase his artists. Pill is only known by people in Georgia, South Carolina, and Alabama mostly.

Meek Mill is only really known in Pennsylvania, Deleware, and Jersey.

I'm sure the label didn't expect this to be a gold album.

I was surprised that there was a bidding war for MMG because Ross showed that his crews don't usually push big #s (see the Triple Cs albums).

I like what Ross did with MMG (big Pill and Wale fan), but 50K aint bad for an album like this

I find it funny how people still stuck on that considering the type of Music Rick Ross and Mayback Music make you clowns acting like they make Music like Dead Prez

Gangsta Rap has always sold very high from NWA days generally people enjoy that kinda Music

You act like Suburban kids don't eat up that Gangsta/King Pin Drug Rap

It's a flop no denying that

As a CEO Rick Ross isn't gonna make much money none of the acts on his label gonna ever sell good

Look at how the Triple C's Album flopped on a major

Self Made flopped on a major

Rick Ross himself on a major can just about go Gold over a long period of time

So now the race card is pulled out. Ross by now is a gold rapper, which is very respectable in this age. The race card doesnt work.

the race card?

have you ever been to a rick ross show? his fanbsase is 99.9% black

compare that to a em show his fanbase is 99.9% white

now being that this is america, a white majority country, and seeing as white people are the biggest consumer of music, that includes rap music, who do you think will sell more?

if you have a large white fanbase you will always sell more than the rapper who's fanbase solely consists who black fans

gold is respectable but ross in terms of appealing to white people has a long way to go in order to get that jay z and kanye money

nobody expected mmg tp sell big numbers, they churned out music and threw it out onthe market, on to the next.

u can tell its off the top cuz of how sketchy the first 8 were lol he finished off ham(as he would say) tho..

yeah, but that made it authentic, at one point he catches to the beat perfect and rides the fuck out.

It wasnt a perfect freestyle, but lets you know it was for real.
