I'm from the south but I always been in tuned with the West and early days NY. Although 90s south music was hella dope, the new wave is the West. They making the best music right now.

Fuck Ebro and his trolling ass thoughts. The reason why the Future's and Young thug's of the world are even relevant is because him and other radio personality's like him play their garbabge 24/7. South still has it's hands in the game, but I would love for cats like Krit, Killer Mike and and Cole get more love down here than Boosie, Future and Young thug.

To be fair Krit, RTJ, and Cole are my top favorite artists right now, but based on overall appeal them alone can't carry the south. The West has dope conscious rappers, party rappers, weed rappers, and street rappers. Hell, YG is dope af now lol.
