THE REEM SEASON 3 EPISODE 3: KNOCKOUT

The white dude's face at 13:12 is classic "This nigga..."

Flip side: on a scale of 1 to 10, how embarrassing is this shit?

Even tho as a fan i feel bad for him. I think it was pretty good to show him at his low point. Pretty honest and I respect that. But the thing that uis fucked up is that he got injured so he's out of his fight vs JDS and now its JDS vs Hunt at UFC 160 I think or something like that.

All's well that ends well for Mark Hunt.

A day after UFC president Dana White said Hunt turned down a fight against Junior dos Santos at UFC 160, "The Super Samoan" got the fight he wanted following a phone conversation with White Thursday night.

As a result, Hunt will now meet dos Santos on May 25 in Las Vegas. White confirmed the news with MMAFighting.com Saturday morning.

When contacted by MMAFighting.com, an ecstatic Hunt called the opportunity "my title shot." Hunt, who denied ever directly turning down the opportunity, was pleased with the outcome of the call, as was White. They would not discuss exactly what they spoke about.

An opening presented itself for Hunt after Alistair Overeem pulled out of the fight due to a quadriceps injury. Immediately after the Overeem news broke, Hunt told MMAFighting.com that he was willing and ready to fight dos Santos later this year.

No word just yet who Overeem will now face next or when he will return to action. Sources close to "The Reem" said he was shooting for a July return to the Octagon.

Hunt (9-7) enters the bout riding a four-fight winning streak following his knockout of Stefan Struve last Saturday night, while dos Santos (15-2) is coming off a heavyweight title loss to Cain Velasquez in December.

UFC 160, headlined by Cain Velasquez vs. Antonio Silva 2, will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Hunt vs. dos Santos will serve as the co-main event.

Badr Hari fights again this friday @ K1 WGP

Wed Mar 13, 2013 2:58 pm

After been released from jail a few weeks ago, Badr Hari is going to fight again this friday.

This is a letter from the promotor.

Sensational - Badr Hari at K-1 WGP Final in Zagreb!

Dear Mr/Ms,

One of the best and most attractive kickboxing fighters in the world and by far the biggest global kickboxing star, Badr Hari, will fight at the K-1 WGP Final to be held in Zagreb on March 15.

This sensational news that will give a whole new dimension to the Zagreb combat spectacle was exclusively revealed to Fight Site by the main producer of the event and head of Fight Channel, Orsat Zovko.

The Moroccan will enter the Grand Prix quarterfinal as the substitute for Ben Edwards. This also means that we will see Hari in the first fight against Azerbaijani Zabit Samedov and that he will face the winner of the Londt-Gerges bout if he goes through to the semis. Hari and Samedov have already battled each other before. At the K-1 WGP Final 16 in 2009, Hari knocked out Samedov after only 2 minutes and 15 seconds of the first round.

There is no need to emphasize what the arrival of a star of this caliber means for the whole tournament. In his professional career, Hari had 111 fights with an incredible score of 100 wins and only 11 losses. Even more impressive is his knockout statistics: 88% of his wins came by "putting the other guy to sleep." It was this attractive and uncompromising style that won him millions of fans and an army of followers all over the world.

It's hard to count all the great names Hari defeated in his rich career, but his biggest wins certainly came against quadruple K-1 WGP winner Semmy Schilt, triple K-1 WGP winner Peter Aerts, K-1, Dream and Strikeforce champion Alistair Overeem, as well as the likes of Sefo, Feitosa, Karaev, Ignashov, Saki, Leko, Zimmerman, Akhramenko, Slowinski and Graham.
