Blake was from the 616 but this Thor is from the Ultimate universe since he doesn't need an alter ego.

In the civil war arc in the comics, the black Hercules got murked by Ragnorok so my guess is that since giant man nor Hercules isnt in this movie, they're replacing it with war machine towards the end of civil war leading into Thor: Ragnorok. I could be wrong though.
