I need that GOTG soundtrack ASAP. Someone hook me up with those Awesome mixes

I gotta give them props for that as well. Timeless oldies, just at the right times it seemed. There use to be an infomercial on the USA channel that sold all that shit on cd sets.

This movie is like when a moderately attractive new chick with a cool personality start at your job. Everybody in her face for about a week then she just starts to blend in with everybody else.

The movie was aight. It's one of the best looking Marvel movies, had some diverse characters, with another flat villain. A unique soundtrack, and some laughs. That's cool. I like to laugh. And I ain't even mad that niggas put it above Cap2 and Avengers.....or even X-Men. The shit that bothers me is that I waited after the credits to see a fucking duck. I waited after X men and saw young Apocalypse building pyramids. da fuck Marvel?

Because marvel owes you so much , after they gave you a full 128 minute movie...

That's not my point, don't get so offended that I didn't like it as much as you did and miss the point my dude. My gripe is with all the directions they could have went IMO(as a Marvel fan). Nova corps, Adam Warlock, Kree Intelligence, Skrulls. I wasn't a fan of the howard the duck cameo......

Dog, this was the first GotG movie. You were expecting them to exhaust the entire Marvel Cosmic landscape in the first movie? This movie was basically about introducting the Guardians and the Cosmic side.

No. Not at all. I wasn't expecting them to setup for anything major. I understand what this movie was, what it was trying to do, and what it did. However I (as in me personally) had hoped for a cooler cameo. I didn't want all the things I named, just some possibilities I would have liked to have seen other than Howard the Duck.

Ehhh, I guess. I just don't see how not having the cameo you want is a knock against the movie. You are really searching for something bad to say when your criticism of a movie is that the Easter Egg they included wasn't up to your desire.

Don't understand why niggas feel like they have to now shit on Avengers just because another great superhero team movie came out. It's okay to like two things.

I've been shittin on Avengers though - most overhyped film in ages IMO.. shit just irks me for some reason

They showed Adam Warlock twice in the movie. In cocoon form...well the second time he broke out...thats when you see Howard the Duck but he is just a distraction from the real gem drop

My list is in no way out of line. you might not agree, but its not like some vast stretch of the imagination that a dude would like Captain America: The First Avenger, a movie that is unconventional by Marvel standards with an interesting historic fantasy vibe, great character arc and good acting. and no one can argue that the Cap costume in TFA >>>>>>>> that wack ass bullshit from The Avengers.

or

The Incredible Hulk, another movie that is unconventional by Marvel standards as its darker and more gritty, lacks jokes (*gasp say it ain't so) + Abomination can at least stand up to the Hulk and isn't a joke villain for him like Loki. I also like that it has some great cult classic type actors like Tim Roth, Edward Norton, and William Hurt.

that's just my opinion though.. a lot of people agree that Iron Man 1 and The Winter Soldier is better but don't be a fanboy and act like its unrealistic that neither CA:TFA or TIH couldn't possibly appeal to someone's tastes more than The Avengers.
