Wayne has been a mainstream artist since his debut

He's grown musically every album

so are you saying you really believe that rebirth is a better album the C3?

lol. i get you feel like you have to defend wayne at all cost, but nobody really believes that rebirth and IANAHB are good examples of wayne "growing musically every album".

since C2 his albums have gotten worse. if C4 isn't a GREAT album, wayne's credibilty as a MUSIC ARTIST is gonna be done.

I didnt say they were better, he grows and changes with every project he never does the same thing twice. And he takes chances with his music

SMH @ cats trying to compare an "alternative" album to all of Wayne's rap albums. Which technically still shows his growth as an artist trying to expand to other genres.

growing musically implies that the artist has gain some perspective, has a new outlook, or new stories to tell.

wayne is still talking about the exact same things he did on C2 in the exact same way.

like the earlier poster said 6'7 was basically A Milli part 2. and like i said earlier, almost every song wayne puts out he says something about "im the shit", "fuck the world", or "and the f is for..." and he just spits random punchlines that usually aren't even clever or witty.

that's not showing growth. that's being stagnant. which is boring.

it was still HIS album. and a bad one. when your product gets worse than the previous one, that's not growth. that's a fail.

True, cause all rappers talk about a variety of different things from album to album. Jay, Nas, Em, etc...they never talk about the same things that they talked about in the past. They all reinvent the wheel each and every time they come out. GTFOH!!! All rappers talk about the same things depending on what type of artist they are.

true. all artists talk about the same themes. even writers usually write about the same topics.

the difference with Jay, Nas, and Em is that they are creative enough to talk about the same themes in new ways. jay use to talk about being a hustle on the corner, now he talks about being a hustler in the boardroom. nas is still a street poet, but he can talk about current events that relates to people's lives now. em use to talk about doing drugs and now he talks about overcoming drugs. they have new stories to tell.

wayne is still talking about the same things in the exact same way. hell, he even has to continue to use the exact same set-up lines(ie "the f is for..."). idk if wayne is really creative enough to address common themes in a new way. we'll see were he goes on C4. but like i said, if it's the same story from wayne, people will get bored with him.

if all wayne has to talk about on C4 is comparing himself to shit, how many ways he's gonna fuck the world, and constantly telling us the many things the f in his name stands for, then he'll have about 1 minute left in his 15 minutes.

15 minutes?

nigga where have you been?

I didn't see this posted. It looks legit. People said the C3 cover was fake but it turned out to be real. It's on 2dopeboyz.

thats a deep cover n/h. the frog represents wayne because frogs croak and wayne is weezy. the frog is gold because wayne is a cash money millionaire. the ice cube represents how wayne is so hot he freezes.
