I don't think he'll outdo the carter 3 musically. the first 2 carters were good the carter 3 was ok, but that 6'7 shit should've been locked away in the vault. I just didn't like his verse at all. Hopefully he come back with something stronger because that wasn't it

6'7" sounds like another left-over from that "i am not a human being" bullshit. if he stays in that lane, it'll be terrible. he needs to take a break, he's been making so much music over the last 3 years, every song sounds like a leftover mixtape song: forgettable

He don't say shit most of the time. I'll be hoping for solid production.

Exactly. Lil Wayne is ramble rap. He's still the hardest working rapper in the game, but 2004-2007 was the best Wayne I've heard. After that I'll say Hot Boyz Wayne was dope too. They stayed talking about murder & hustling but back then he stayed on topic.

Anyway, many folks are gonna love it regardless. He's a Demonic coon to me.

Coons sticking together and runnin' the game out chea.....

Yes because this is the point in his career when he decides whether he's still hungry or wants to appeal to the fans. It's not about whether or not he can produce a quality album and at least come correct on the lyrical end, it's about whether he actually gives a shit or he's just gonna choose to ramble on and waste good production like he did on the carter III

I think once Mannie left his rambling picked up. I think not only did Mannie make the beats but kept that nigga kinda on topic to certain degree. Seems like the production is still there but his musical direction is going down since mannieleft

As far as pressure Wayne is still that nigga. not sure if he will do a mili but folks love the dude and his fan base is large. I think folks are underestimating him b/c he went away for awhile. seems like fokls just wanthim to fail

I do think Mannie kept him in check more, he got alot of yes men these days.

Mannie wouldnt let him leave the studio with some of them questionable bars, which is why I think Carter 1 is his best album

Mannie Fresh said Wayne had the entire Tha Block Is Hot album written before he ever made 1 beat for it...Mannie Fresh never controlled what Wayne said, that's just how Wayne was rapping then and yeah he was more on topic but even then you could tell out of all the Hot Boyz Wayne had the most lyrical approach to his raps...BG and Juve were still far ahead of Wayne at the time but you could tell even then Wayne was more towards the NY lyrical type of rap and not just the southern style of rapping
