my point is that you can always bank on em selling, regardless of the effort....lmaooo@ you talkin bout rappers that were on they peak like nelly, snoop and dmx...how much are they sellin now??? are they still sellin consistently, like Em? how much did Nelly's last album do???? the drop is in sales is extreme, you can tell when an artist is on his peak and when they not anymore, with Em that shyt don't seem to matter, cuz he will always sell regardless of how garbage or not his album is, its always a safe bet...why are yall frontin? tryna act like Em is just like everyone else, when we all know this is not true, smh....

I named Nelly, Snoop, and DMX because they like Em all had debuts that sold significantly more than most rappers' debut albums. Em sells consistently, but so does Jay, Kanye, and Wayne. Eminem's sales have also taken a huge dip like everyone else except Wayne. Eminem at his sales peak was doing 8-10 mill. By '04, he sold around half of that. By '09, he was doing half of what he did in '04. Recently Recovery did 4 mill which is still less than what he did in '04.

LOL @ Em selling regardless of how garbage the album is. Read the comments about Wayne's album. Any artist that sales a massive amount of copies will always get the "well people will cop it no matter how garbage it is" cop out. The same was said when Diddy did 7 mill w/ No Way Out, fans deny that Lauryn's 8 million selling Miseducation is even a Hip Hop album, OutKast were consider by many to be sellouts when Aquemini, Stankonia, and Speakerboxxx/Love Below did their respective numbers.

Jay does well with BP3 and he gets the "he's gotta be a part of the Illuminati" argument. Same was said about Kanye

T.I. does numbers and it's gotta be because he snitched

Em does numbers and it's gotta be because he's white

Maybe some people actually have ears and buy music because they like what they hear. Consumers of music are always criticized for being dumb sheep (as if the people who type these statements on message boards aren't consumers as well). That's like the pot calling the kettle black.

Its all about the first week to capture that time and interest. Ringtones and tours is where the money is, not albums sales. Cause sales isnt bringing in big bucks these days. But it is a representation of who's hot out there. Do I believe out of 900, they got 200 of them shits. Yes I do

If you can re-sell the albums you bought, what's the point in ever buying them to begin with? And if it was the label buying the albums to generate interest for tours then you'd see a huge drop off in Wayne's tour...there's a reason he's been on the road for damn near 5 years straight save for his time in jail

smh, are you serious there you go again, not addressin my main points...those ppl you mentioned sold like that at they peak...and like i had already said, ofcourse Em sold more in the beginning, but Em will consistantly go double plat or triple plat, no matter the time or album from now on....he is a safe bet to do numbers, the only safe bet in rap music, Wayne only started to pull them type numbers since the carter iii which was the last album before this one, you can't be serious, and you keep on being selective and repeating your shyt to cover shyt up, smh...even 50, em's servant has said that no one has a chance of doin Em type numbers consistently and how it ain't possible, and i hate to say it but he is being proven right...
