now you paying double the shipping costs if you buy them then re ship them to be sold again. and by the time you do all of that the sales are already declining

If you spend 2 million on buying 200K albums, you don't recover that by selling those 200K albums unless you're selling them directly yourself because you'd be losing money on shipping and the retailers taking their cut, plus you'd be paying royalties for those sales twice. Buying your own albums is stupid. IF anything you'd just put two more million dollars into marketing, advertising, and payola to create more album sales, more publicity, and generate more interest in your product.
