OR its because he got insanely popular and people will buy it because its made by Lil Wayne..

regardless wayne is a constant professional

his work ethic is through the roof, its a 24/7 week grind,

if u work hard as he has regardless if u dont like his music or not, it's well deserved

megaman, president carter, she will, 6'7 and john are great songs imo...

...c4 is a pretty solid album, only true low point on c4 was shyne's verse on the outro *disgust*

he shoulda had twista instead

Congrats to Wayne. This should be considered a win for Hip Hop on several different levels, but I'm sure there are still some people bitter because it's Wayne and not their favorite MC. At the very least, this album introduces Tech to the mainstream, Nas and Bun B to new audiences etc. There's also a crop of new producers on the album.

Secondly, if this album continues to sell consistently, we can come off that whole played out Eminem this and Eminem that based off his sales and his skin color. Of course there will be those that try to spin that "but Wayne acts and dresses like so" as an excuse to why he sold so much. Face it, Wayne did what he did because he's Wayne. I'm not a fan, but props are props.

i'll give it to ya...you right about these points...but i would have rather he went double wood..for teh sake of lyricism and real emcee's

why wayne gotta rap like how you want? how bout you just listen to and stick to YOUR definition of 'real emcee's', i'm sure there out there.

no we can't, cut that shyt out, it can't even be comparable...Wayne creates the hype and buzz becuz of his work ethic...the amount of features and mixtapes this nigga does, and tours before he drops an album, is what helps him sell, Em aint gotta do none of that shyt, all he has to do is drop an album and its automatic...plus all of Em's albums sell ridiculously regardless of the music in them, and thats real.

Work ethic does not equal record sales. LOL @ Em selling ridiculously when Relapse sold just over double platinum with successful singles in comparison to Wayne selling 3.6 million copies with C3.

dawg...even other rappers will speak about Wayne's work ethic...that's damn near the first thing they will say...it's been said in plenty of interviews when asked about him.. his work ethic is out of the ordinary to most..

first of all, the carter 3 came out before relapse and thats the first album that wayne did numbers like that...Em been making numbers like that since he came in the game, album after album, regardless of ratings, quality of music and etc...and you can bet that his next record sells about the same as his previous, he ain't gotta do shyt to sell the same type of amount of records...where am i lying here???? :unno....
