I see this is going to be an album where the newness factor has to fade for yall to realize how trash this shit is. Album so bad im to download yeezus and cruel summer to forget this terrible listen.

I agree... yet to me, the album is not terrible. Just okay at best.

I mean, facts should of been left off. Waves, and freestyle four should of been left off...

Famous should of been rewritten .

Give up Stew. They're just going to pretend like Kanye's songs didn't use to have real direction and purpose. Going to pretend like Kanye wasn't at least decent on the mic. Like Kanye didn't spit lines and have songs that touched people's souls. He's a complete scatterbrain now. His circle is full of trash niggas and it's showing all through his music. Kanye soaks up whatever he's around. He used to draw from Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Common and Rhymefest vibes. Now he gets his inspiration from the likes of Young Thug, Travis Scott & Future. It's now clear to me that he's never truly went on his own opinions. He just wants acceptance.

I heard it this morning. You know it's interesting, they say money makes you more of the person you are. Remember Ye was once under the roof of Dame, Beanie Sigel, Talib, Common, when he was like 25-26 as their "lil homey". When he left that he also left behind those standards. Kinda like when MJ left Quincy Jones, MJ felt he was just like his overbearing father but at the same time his best work came out of that b/c he had someone who could keep him humble and channel his energy properly b/c he was much older and experienced in everything. MJ cranked out Off The Wall and Thriller his best work EVER. But look at what happened to MJ as time went on....

These days Kanye has these young guys around him who will never tell him something is wack b/c they all seek his approval - to be accepted. He's their "idol", you think Dame, Beans, Common or Kweli would have signed off on Yeezus ? LOLOL show me your friends I'll show you who you are, that's why he's after acceptance, be it fashion or wherever.

Its solid. Not his best work by far.

After giving this 3 spins this album is almost as good as MBDTF but it's some joints he should have left on the cutting room floor. Tracks like Lowlights, Pt.2, Freestyle 4, & Wolves (I'm not crazy about heavily autotune tracks) would have best removed from TLOP. I'm glad he put 18 tracks on the final cut because 10 wasn't going to get it done and would have been seen as a lazy effort from Kanye with musical talent he has. TLOP is a mesh of Kanye's past albums like CD/LR, Graduation, 808's, & MBDTF.

Personally 12 out of 18 listenable tracks isn't bad at all but if he would have removed those 4 songs, this would be a classic. I don't like throwing out the "classic" label on just any album either. Listening to this 3 times I say 9/10 for TLOP.
