I am still studying. Work has been keeping me way too busy over the past few weeks but I am still learning some VoIP stuff when I can. I am going to Cisco Live in June and I want to take the voice lab while I am down there. That means I have to pass the CCIE written between now and then. I probably will make an attempt in April sometime. Basically still grinding with six figure salary dreams.

Studying for the ROUTE exam currently. Plan on taking it by end of Feb. Trying to knock out all of CCNP before May. Still using INE CCIE materials for these exams.

You can DL the INE labs from the internet. That's what i did, came up to about 30gb for all the videos and lab shit.

INE is pretty good. Brian Mcgahan is pretty good. Not like Jeremy from CBT nuggets but way more detailed.

Man, I had downloaded it from a Megaupload type site like a few months back. I found a premium account online, logged in with it, and just download the rar files over night. I don't even remember where I got it from, I just Googled INE ccie security and started clicking links.

On the real, Jeremy is the goat instructor. That nigga make you feel like you in the lab with him when he's doing them CBT's. I'd actually pay money to go in a class with him and learn some shit.

That's been my motto ever since i started

I will be geting my A+ cert after I get my Master's degree. I also want to do some programming. I want to become a business Analyst. Searching Dice every job wants some basic programming experience. Should I just get windows certified or learn a basic programming language? C++, Java or .Net

look and see the job listings on Dice and see what it requires. you cant learn programming overnight so if you have any free time get it cracking with the certs/programming. once you get comfortable with it you can throw it on your resume and it can make a difference between getting a job right after your degree or getting one a year later.

A+ can take you about 3 weeks to learn, practice and pass

yeah that's what im using. BGP and OSPF types. Right now going through the Route OCG and Route Student Lab manual. I'm trying to get to a point where i know what the lab is asking for me to do in these objectives and case studies. I've read this article about Roman Rodichev, the 6xCCIE...

Roman: If you are going to do CCIE, why waste time on CCNP? If you are ready for CCIE, you can go and take all CCNP tests in one day, and you’ll pass them. Getting CCNP might get you a $10-20K salary increase, but probably only if you switch jobs. If you think that CCIE is your ultimate goal, go for CCIE, don’t think about CCNP. These two certifications require a different approach in studying. Some people choose to study with pass4sure and pass the CCNP within a week. I would rather prepare first for a CCIE, and then take CCNP tests without preparation a week before the CCIE lab.

Got me reconsidering my strategy...

^^^^

it all depends on your time and $ really. you can braindump your whole way to the CCIE lab and ultimately you will learn everything needed to validate your CCNP in order to actually pass the CCIE lab..but its the experience and problems/scenarios you run into that will make you great at networking. i see what you're saying though
