1st clue: They keep referencing Young Jeezy, who was real hot in EVERY HOOD IN AMERICA in '05.
2nd clue: I forgot what song it was, but I remembered him Sayin something about listening Usher's song "Burn", which was a huge hit around that time period.
3rd Clue: In M.A.A.D. City, he says how he worked as a security guard and he had got fired after a month on the job. If you listen to P&P from the Kendrick Lamar EP, he says
"used to have a nine-to-five, fresh out of school, that was '05
That bitch was racist, got me fired, ever since then, I had no job
Pushing in my mama van, stop for gas on Rosecrans
Trust me, these niggas rushed me for something my cousin probably did".
Notice the "Pushin my Mama's van" part and that's should be a dead giveaway rite there. That's how the story began with him takin his moms whip.
It would make more sense that it took place in 04-05 if you think about it, cuz Kendrick was born in 1987, and around that time he was still 17 goin on 18 yrs old, which puts the GOOD KID part of the title in context. He can't be a 25 yrs old (his current age) and still sayin that he's a good kid. This album could probably even be him talkin about his years as a teenager.

Like at the end of "Bitch don't kill my vibe". It sounds like Kendrick and a girl singing the outro. I suspect its all voice distortion though.

He also states that he's 17 on the album. Good notes though. I picked up on Burn and Jeezy, good shout on the security guard bit though.

Swimming POols has the chopped and screwed "Drank"
they used back up singers and vocal manipulations
@RuffDraft i respect that, but "ignorance" isn't only in the mainstream
