too many other sports that get more recognition and quicker route to money and scholarships and i know some of the worlds best players arent even that fast or strong and that soccer skills are valued wayyyyy more than athleticism but imagine all the dribbling ability and shooting prowess a lot of players could have if they just dedicated themselves to soccer

his career would've been way more relevant in Europe. dude is only 27 years old, now entering his prime in football. he and his family made the wrong decision. the hype gets the best of him. shit, he could've represent Ghana national football team.
he was pressured to become the american pele at age 13. thats a lot of pressure in itself.
