but i think they were counting the 2018/2022 winter olympics too because yeah 2024 is still up for grabs

now it makes sense because during the closing ceremony yesterday the commentator mentioned the u.s olympic commitee was very worried that lochte case could damage the los angeles bid

They should give it to Budapest because Rome, Paris and L.A. have already hosted it and it would be something different. Hamburg, Germany was one of the finalists as well but they withdrew.

Los Angeles will host the 2028 Olympics while Paris will host the 2024 Olympics......LA already has the infrastructure in place (stadiums, housing, etc) but traffic will be even worse
