1.Rearview-You know an album will be good when its starts off likes this. This sog was the perfect intro

2.Narcos-The beat on this song was crazy reminds me of hydra's theme from warriors orochi 3

3.Carless-This is about letting ho's go.

4.Fuckin Up the Count-This is about being in jail

5.Extradite-Black thought came correct on this

6.Mcduck-Smooth beat and Dana Williams really does justice on the cover

7.Mexico-Best song on the album hands. Freddie better make video of this. This one could be huge

8.Packages-Another banger. Seroulsiy drive blasting this at full volume.

9.10 Times-E-40 came through on this(As always) and Gucci Mane even did his thing.

10.Lately-Meh feels like a throw away

11.Basketball Wives-He raps about fucking a bitch. Nothing more nothing less

12.Forever and a Day-depressing

13.Insecurities-This is a song about his insecurities

14.Freddie Gordy-Brutal track. He should hit up King Gordy for a remix lol.

15.Cold ass Nigga-WEAK! worst track on the album. He just said nigga over and over again

16.My Boy-This was a bouns track so I wasen't expecting much this he really came though on this one

17.10 chickens-Another bonus track. Farily average imo

Overall-7 out of 10

Its not as good as his other work but still solid enough.

No, it really isn't. On top of being weird, have you been sheltered as well? Smh. Prolly so. If niggas on the block knew you wore makeup, they'd prolly run your pockets and beat your ass everyday. FUTC is a song about hustlin' and keepin the count on the money and drugs right, genius.

That's a pretty lazy description and review of a song.

No, he didn't. Are we listening to the same song?

I don't have a problem with you reviewing whatever you want, (It's not like any of us values your opinion anyway.) however, I've seen you put forth more effort in a review of your satanic ritual rap. At least keep it consistent.

An mc that is saying nixxa all the time? Are you fucking serious?

I don't think you meant to quote me, bruh. Lol.

I think this has a more current sound than Piñata did. So I think it kinda depends on how you feel about the current landscape of the genre as to whether or not you fuck wit this one more than his last joint.

I think the quality is extremely close between the two. And that's a testament in and of itself

Yup, my fault but i still like his mixtapes more, i dont say that shit is wack, i love some tracks but when i listen to the empire strikes back i have to keep myself in check to not attack somebody. This little guy reminds me of tupac sometimes. .

THIS SHIT IS GARBAGE...NIGGA SOUND LIKE FETTY GIBBS ON THIS...

HOW DO YOU GO FROM AOTY TO WEEDPLATE OF THE YEAR?...

Gibbs is someone eye have to listen to in moderation and when I'm in certain moods

He's dope but the vibes and lyrics he dishes are so grimey and cutthroat ... too much of that black hearted gangsta shit aint good for your mind and soul..His music is very yang based...He channels the energies of the streets quite nicely

The thing is that he doesn't balance that shit out with some humor(like Sean price) or love(like pac)

Hes like a more grim, deadpan and demonic Tupac ..You can tell what kind of spiritual forces this ninja is channeling just by looking at the album cover..His music is ALL about glorifying his "shadow/devil self" or his inner negative polarity...

The only nigga that ever came close to matching pacs energy was DMX but even he was missing certain elements when it came being compared to Pac

Never listened to a Gibbs project but after all the positive reviews in here i will give this a stream and see whats up.

Especially with yall sayin AOTY

I mean Scarface, Kendrick, Dr Dre, Joey Badass, Ghostface albums all in that AOTY talk so he better be good.

4 tracks in now.

Production goes hard on this shit.

He aint sayin much tho.... sounds like its gonna be a whole album about dope game

Careless has a Do Or Die / Bone Thugs feel

Yup, thats a little bit nh but your right, can't be hardcore gangsta 24/7..

Ight just finished the album

Production was dope almost every track.

Content was mad repetitive, especially the 1st half the album.

Was not feeling Mexico. I feel like it woulda been way better without the autotune effect.

McDuck & Careless both dope smooth listens.

Packages- WrapItAndPackageItUpWrapItAndPackageItUpWrapItAndPackageItUpWrapItAndPackageItUp....... SKIP

Basketball Wives is so bad its funny

Forever & A Day is my favorite track on the album. Saved to my Spotify playlist

Insecurities & Freddie Gordy are both cool because he actually gets introspective on the tracks like Scarface or UGK did when they talk about the dope game. Wish he would take that approach more on the album.

Cold Ass Nigga sucked

Def better than Redman & Jadakiss albums

not AOTY contention tho

Grow up lil nigga.

having listened to this a few times (i did wait for the actual release date), i have to say: phenomenal album. Gibbs does not disappoint. however:

Yeah it's close, this one don't have a banger like "Eastside Moonwalker" on it though.
this is true. i legitimately prefer ESGN to the other albums because its has highs ("Eastside Moonwalker," "Freddie Soprano") the later albums don't.

Im the only nigga liking this more than pinata?
no. i really like Pinata but i like Shadow Of A Doubt more. Pinata has some great tracks, but sometimes i'm just not in the mood for a Madlib beat. SOAD feels more cohesive to me.

I'M READING THROUGH THIS THREAD...

AND I SEE A WHOLE BUNCH OF NIGGAS TRYING REAL HARD TO LIKE IT...

DON'T FRONT...

I LIKE GIBBS, BUT U KNOW THIS IS TRASH B)

Ain't no one tryin hard to like shit, bruh. You don't fuck wit it, but ain't no one forcing you to. Lol. It's like me going in a Thug thread asking why niggas is fuckin wit his music. Clearly they like it and my opinion ain't gonna deter that. I'd just be wasting my breath and making myself look like stupid.

Welp, whatchu think you doin?
