Would've been cool to see a film with sinister as a villian that eludes to apocalypse awakening then he becomes one of the four horsemen.

Follwed by cable who warns of the possibility of age of apocalypse.

Which is why apocalypse should win because I want to see that world (old man Logan could take place in that timeline) before they reverse the timeline.

Apocalypse should be a time traveling epic that last at least two films

Mr. Sinister should've BEEN in an X-Men movie by now. Him and the Nasty Boys (nh) used to have me rolling in the 90's cartoon.

Which is why I'd like Singer gone in general because he doesn't give a shit about the comics or the characters like that. Honestly asking has there been any actual development of the characters? If you're not a x men fan or anything has someone actually learned anything about the back story of the characters much less their powers?

Again R.I.P. to Micheal Clark Duncan. The Apocalypse role was his had he not passed.

Kevin grevioux

He wrote the blue marvel character so I wouldn't be surprised if Kevin Feige used him for the role if they owned the rights back. Matterfact, I wouldn't be surprised if he is in a blue marvel project.

Wolverine's development spans pretty much every movie since the first one.

First Class and DOFP gave character development for Xavier, Mystique, and Magneto.

It looks like Apocalypse will do the same for more characters. I'll admit though, outside of Wolverine and Rogue, nobody got any development in the first 3 movies. They just threw us in the middle of whatever was happening.

I wonder what's behind the decision to have made Mystique such a key character in the movie universe. She always just seemed like an ancillary character to me in the comics, but she's second only to Wolverine as far as the movies go. I can think of a lot of other characters *cough*Cyclops*cough* that were more deserving of that kinda shine.

Katniss Everdeen was sucking and fucking directors to get screen time

Because she's Jennifer Lawrence despite the fact that Mystique isn't an intergal part of the xmen like that. I have no problems with Xavier and Magneto getting shine they were my favorite parts of First Class and DOFP.

So, out of the tons of mutant characters, you rather Fox just reiterate the same character development you've already read in the comics instead of charting new territory and highlighting different characters?

No, I'm just saying there would've been better candidates than Mystique. To me, she's best known for being Nightcrawler's mom and fucking Sabretooth.

I don't think Singer knows that so he just created his own storyline.

What new territory? Besides Mystique Xavier, Magneto, and Logan have been the only ones that have gotten any actual development. I'm saying Cyclops, Storm, Rogue, shit Colossus, and have a lot more depth to them but were largely ignored. Storm is a confident, strong, and 2nd in command to Cyclops and has even lead on occasion when she has too. Sabertooth who is freaking Wolverines arch nemesis for crying out loud was dispatched in X1 and never seen again. Origins damn sure doesn't count cause that movie should never have been written in he first place. Rogue is one of the most powerful mutants who could fly, whoop ass, and is damn sure not a damnsel in distress.

You do know that that specific power set is a result of permanently absorbing Ms. Marvel's powers, right? And Ms. Marvel is owned by Marvel Studios. There is virtually no way to explain her getting those abilities.

When I say new territory, I mean showcasing mutants who didn't already get heavy attention in the comics, aside from Wolverine who, let's be honest, they'd be dumb not to push to the forefront. Do you have any idea how immense the roster of mutants is? They could heavily focus on 10 mutants and still be ignoring another 50 of them.

Am I really just one of the few people on here who understands that the movies don't have to follow the comics verbatim? Why is it so hard to accept that none of these studios are following the comics page for page?
