He kinda looks like Kirby's first incarnation of the character.

Just as Sasha Baron Cohen did interviews as Borat, wouldn't it be cool if Ryan Reynolds did interviews as Deadpool.

If ever a picture completely embodied the spirit and demeanor of a character...

Things are looking bright for Deadpool. It has potential to become a modern day classic. Can't wait for the eventual scene where he's watching X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

Uh ok. Is that really the best Singer could find? I mean I guess cause she's not bad looking so she'll look nice on the screen but...

Fox is making this, right?

Yes and they haven't had their biggest obstacle of the past (Tom Rothman) anchoring them for years now. The new execs actually allow people to make watchable superhero movies now.

Elaborate on that playboy.

Who didn't see this coming? Pyslocke getting whitewashed and I really don't think X-Men: Apocalypse is going to contain Besty having her essence transferred into an Asian chick. Ole girl does kinda look like Psylocke, but I would have preferred a more ethnic looking chick and from what y'all are saying ole girl can't act, but hey at least she'll be fun to look at.

Tom Rothman was the asshole who ruined many Fox movies (not just their Marvel ones) with his bean counter mentality. Everything from Epic Movie to Dragonball: Evolution and Taxi could be accredited to him. On the licensed Marvel front X-Men: The Last Stand ending up how it did & the existence of X-Men Origins: Wolverine and Tim Story's rushed F4 dualogy is also his doing.

He was so out of control he got booted from the company in 2012. Ever since slowly but surely the studio has turned it's tide and it's going back to actually prioritizing putting out quality features again instead of just movies that will make decent bank on opening weekend and end up forgotten.

He was to Fox what Jeff Robinov was to Warner Bros. Thankfully both have since been replaced by more competent and in touch execs. Kevin Tsujihara over at WB for instance is a huge DC Comics fan and a reason why we finally are getting a DCCU after Robinov used to hold up his nose at any DC property that wasn't Batman or Superman for so many years.

@broddie what's a "bean counter mentality"?

Beans are a cheap commodity, so to count them is a rather silly thing to do. A "bean counter" is one who nitpicks over small things in order to save costs. It is a derogatory term for accountants, bankers, and anyone who holds a financial interest in an endeavor.

The Saturn ION's oil filter housing is cheap plastic because bean counters decided that a metal one was too expensive
