Oh and no a 5/10 would actually be a D if you want to get technical. Familiarize yourselves with how 10 point scales actually work fellas.

I'm not exactly in Japan bruh.

When I was growing up (1983 baby here) when it came to a 10 point scale a 1 was an F, 2-3 an E, 4-5 a D, 6-7 a C, 8-9 a B and a 10 was a straight up A.

If Fox makes X-men movies like this with more adult like styles as well as character centric shit I'm fine with them not being with Marvel. FF should pnly because they have Doom, Galactus, and Annihulus though with an emphasis more on heroes than villains it may not work out that well anyway.

Because 5 point systems and 10 point systems are exactly the same. Jesus...

Seen it yesterday and thought it was dope...the ending felt kind of anti climatic but I guess it's cuz they ended the XMen franchise as a whole...I'm wondering where Deadpool will take place in? Travel back in time with Cable and start a whole new franchise with new actors as the original XMen maybe

Consider this a flash forward. Any future X-Men movies that drop will take place after Apocalypse and before this unless the narrative says otherwise like what will probably happen with the X-23 movie.

Nope. Next X-Men movie takes place in 1993. Now after that, it will get interesting because the very first X-Men movie took place in 2003.

Did they explain what Prof X did? Am I missing something or did he kill the X-Men and the students at the school?

They did. Basically, the professor had a brain issue, and his powers caused a massacre that killed everyone in the X-Mansion. Wolverine survived and took the professor on the run, since he is now considered to be a domestic terrorist. Logan wanted to get the boat so they could never be caught.

That's what I said.

1993 = after Apocalypse but before Logan.

Remember Logan is the tail end of the new time line after DoFP. The first X-Men took place in 2000 not '03 but indeed it will be interesting to see what replaces it in the new timeline now.

I kinda hope the next few movies (Phoenix/Dark Phoenix rumored to be a trilogy) stay in the 90s because I like seeing McAvoy and Fassbender as peak era Charles and Magneto. It's the one thing the soft reboot did right. I hate that the movies started with them as old men.

I've only just got round to seeing Logan, but yeah, great film. It kind of feels like the character driven film that The Wolverine was hinting at before that messy final third. Best X-Men film of the series.
