i have never heard an Eminem song on the radio...i heard songs that he is featured on; but i have never heard a song from his album on the radio...he is one of the biggest artist in the world but gets no spins on WPGC or WKYS
maybe it's just the dc area but you right joe I've never heard his songs on the radio since stan he gets no play hear but both stations plus the baltimore station play the same 10 songs allday long

See, and that's not cool. Nothing to do with race, but how they categorize his music. Like, they'll play his poppy shit on the teen bopper stations (which in reality, that's how it's suppose to be marketed)
But when Em drops that "Not Afraid", "Lose Yourself", "The Way I Am" type of shit, no poppiness to it, they don't air it. WTF? lol I don't understand it. Shit is HIP HOP, play it on your HIP HOP station.
It's simple. Those radio stations obviously cater to a certain group of people. While some may consider Eminem as "hip-hop" his musical content surely is not acceptable to said group. Therefore, the stations will not play it. The teenybopper station also cater to their group. Eminem makes music for that specific community, so that particular station will air it.

Because he isn't a radio friendly artist. 90% of his singles are corny with no longevity and high burnout rates. Nobody wants to hear most of his shit over and over. His song with Rihanna in on pace to be one of his biggest radio hits...because of Rihanna though.
Some of you don't seem to get that different areas play different songs... Overall, Not Afraid still has yet to reach 30 million audience impressions (# of people who hear the song when it's played). his second single is about to pass it in only, what...2 weeks?
