I think his entire line of reasoning is unbelievably faulty. Niggas in the hood aint trying to hustle 10k CDs out the truck of their cars like Luda and Master P anymore. They make a VIDEO, put it on YOUTUBE, and on that YOUTUBE video, they say you can purchase the CD on the INTERNET. So fuck outta here with that "the hood aint checking" for bullshit. Now everybody is Commons biggest fan. I fuck with both. I obviously got more of Commons music on vinyl and digitally but I cant say his record to Drake was good. It was average at best. Drake had a better flow on that beat and imo better lyrics.
