Drake makes an album where he sings, does what he said he was going to, and gets hate. Lots of rappers sing, and have for a long time.

Kanye makes a whole album singing about love, but because it's not an official "hip hop" album (whatever the fuck that means, you still have yet to explain the difference) he gets a pass. He's a rapper, who gives a shit if it's experimental? Drake's album is experimental too, and he has spoken about it numerous times.

Drake's album is experimental hip-hop, he never said he was going to be on some Styles P type of shit with Take Care.
