shit i was accused of being a drake cheerleader today and i can't even bump the album like that. I'm just calling it how i see it.

man if there's a rapper the IC hates, you can't even appear to give them a compliment or you'll be labeled a stan

yes, im aware of this...

however the accusation that common AND luda gotta diss drake for some fame and sales is ridiculous, come on lets be for real...

and we talkin bout a song that WASNT ABOUT DRAKE TIL DRAKE MADE IT ABOUT DRAKE...

nigga coulda been thinkin bout roscoe dash when he wrote that for all we know..

You're an idiot if you don't think the record was about Drake...come on bruh, it may not have been specifically about him but the shit he's talking about applies mostly to Drake, and seeing as he's one of the most popular rappers, you don't have to be a brain surgeon to figure out who he's talking about

but if the point of dissing a nigga is because you think he's wack, how can you diss a nigga whose music you like? What is there to diss if you admit that you have no personal issue with him and you like his music?

exactly why the diss wasnt made specifically for drake...Aubrey caught feelings and made it about him..

biggie has more subliminal songs that that

I know, I just named the first that came to mind...but no I don't respect the action of rappers making subliminal disses...that includes Nas's first verse on The Message and any other song where a rapper didn't at the time have the balls to simply come out and say "Nigga this song/verse/line is about you"...is there really something wrong with wanting rappers to actually be able to say flat out who they have a problem with?

Every rapper in the history of rap has said they're the best, the king, they're on top of the game and any other way you can think of to say nobody is fucking with them...Drake ain't special

Yet them niggas would get shots thrown their way and the said rapper that was gettin dissed would protect their crown. U niggas actin like it's wrong for somebody to come at Drake just because he's popular rite now.

are you retarded? 808s wasn't a hip hop album.

So it's alright because he didn't mark the Hip-Hop genre slot box when he sent the album to the label?

Actually I'd say niggas on the internet made it about Drake, then Drake fell for that shit and believed it...but even then it makes no sense for Common to say NOW it's about Drake if it wasn't initially...you can't direct a diss song towards somebody if you didn't specifically write it about that person...now if Common responds with a diss to Drake then we'd have something...as of now all we got is 1 song from Common and 1 predictable overreaction from an admittedly emotional rapper...

this is comin from the dude who can't accept a diss as a diss unless the rapper's name is explicitly said.

Please shut the hell up

but who is saying that? all i'm saying is if common had a real beef with drake then why didn't he address it off the top? and if common is saying drake music is cool on friday why on monday is he dissing him?

No, read my posts...I'm saying if you're going to actually go at Drake, say the nigga's name...don't be subliminal about it...say his name...of course a nigga is going to get arrogant if the only thing niggas will do is subliminally diss him and never say his name...that's like Craig and Smokey going silent when Deebo came around but poppin shit when he leaves like it really does something...you can whisper a diss all you want, but if the nigga you're dissing never hears it, what good does it do?
