Now that majority of real hiphop heads and average listeners says this album is weak we can move on. Drake should have evolved into a better artist by now his sound is boring and that lane is being taken over by Bryson tiller and Tory lanez drake has to change up and get rid of his yes men because his decline is coming after this album

Yall try too hard man, just log off or go to anlther thread if you don't like it LOLOLOL. Yall kill me, yall don't "listen" to Drake but be mad familiar with all the shit he be doing and have enough time to sit up at midnight waiting for a link to the album LOLOL.

And them niggas are birthed from Drake's style. 6 albums in and this one sold even more than his others have. He's arguably more famous now than he's ever been. Accept it.

I know they came from drake style all the more reason he needs to grow as a artist because as of right now drake is the more successful artist but if he doesn't switch it up these fly by night fans will hop on to the next wave. I'm not a hater I'm a realist I predicted this would happen because eventually it becomes repetitive. Most rappers even successful ones use last about 5 to 8 years on average drake is hitting that mark I'm not saying he won't still generate money but his legacy is tarnish as a mc and songwriter. It's only a matter of time before people move on. It happens to all artists at some point.

Well do you listen to Drake casually ? Are you a fan ? Do you pay for his music or go to his shows ?? Kind of an oxymoron to say he needs to "grow as an artist" if you don't do any of those things. And you can't make demands if you don't pay for it either. You just being upset to be upset LOLOL.

Almost a decade later (about 9 years) and 6 albums in (excluding mixtapes) and he's even more popular than he's ever been. I think he's here to stay. And niggas spoke about needing classics - last time I checked J.Cole was lacking one. The two started out at roughly the same time.... Drake's fame may wane but his position is fixed he'll always have a presence in music. All the times Kanye, Jay-Z, Lil Wayne etc. "Changed" and their fame isn't the same. You think Kanye or Jay-Z could sell a mil in the first week without cheat codes like Samsung buying albums ? Aight.....

Forest Hills Drive is Classic

i dont even bother listening after January 28th

Forest Hills Drive is Classic

Classic as in j Cole or Classic in general?

Excellent question

Let me translate:

'We REALLY like J Cole. He needs to be the best out, like he is, he's definitely the best, but he's 3 albums and 5+ years deep with no classics. No material that can hold up against EVERY era. Welp, we'll fix that:

Forest Hills Drive is uh, its yea ,its classic yall. :/
'

Fun fact, Wayne fans did the same thing with Carter 3 when it dropped.

dont speak for me weirdo

and as a Wayne fan, youre wrong on both accounts

Wayne fans i know, we all consider Carter 1 or carter 2 or both classic

Also Friday Night Lights is a classic, I dont find Forest Hills Drive to be Cole's best work or one of my favorites but i dont speak for everybody and the year he had and success with that album as well as the response goes against how i feel

Oh shit 81 writers this nigga is pretty much the male beyonce maybe that comparison was valid. I take back previous comments earlier in the thread telling niggas not to compare them lol.

Writers include samples and producers y'all niggas dk shit abt numbers

Also 1milli people actually bought the album streaming ain't even been included yet

So Drake about to outsell Beyonce in one weeek than she did in two weeks nevermind all these other rappers alive.

Anyone who actually thinks Drake actually sold all them albums is gullible. It's pretty obvious Apple is fudging his numbers because they have a vested interest to see him succeed (rivalry against Spotify, Tidal, etc).

Drake is nowhere near as popular as he was when he released Take Care and doesn't have the hit record or buzz. At his peak he only did half a mil first week.
